I've had it since my steam account was created acouple years ago. Got maybe 10 total hours in TF2. Never liked the cartoon skin of it.
Well, I had the same issue at one point with HL2 / Portal / Any game that uses hl2.exe, but it went away on its own for whatever reason; now the only game that does it is TF2. Also, major derp on the 65 bit. ><;

Try installing the latest drivers from Nvidia to see if that fixes anything, or attempt to re-install your TF2. Do you have User Account Control turned off?
Well that new rocket launcher is kinda ridiculous.

I've gotten the latest drivers, and I've un/re installed probably 10 by now. Where is the User Account Control setting at?

Medic is hugely dependant on the team. Demo's need to learn to switch to stickies if you uber or kritz them.
Demo is like by far one of the best classes to uber but most demos need to l2p

Playing and being good at though are completely different. I see plenty of medics who heal, but suck terribly at the class still.

Fail-rocket jumping and just getting themselves killed
Not predicting enemy movement on firing and missing by 2 miles
Not healing team mates who are next to them shouting for a medic...
I'm not a great player, but some of the people on TF2 suck.

Basically what was already said.
There's a huge difference between playing a class and playing a class well, and it's noticeable regardless of what you play as.
Granted, even if you suck as some classes, you can still get some kills, but I'm going to be a lot more annoyed if I die by taking a crocket to the face than getting juggled by a skilled soldier who doesn't get lucky crits.

i like playing suicide soldier
if im going to die but the guy im shooting at is almost dead i'll send a rocket at my feet and kill both of us
I am really enjoying spy atm, DemoKnight is also one of my favorite things to play.
i didnt know you could get the new items by random drops too :O i got the bison that i cant use well lol
