this! shaving is the most annoying task on the planet. i'm ALMOST willing to deal with the itchiness of the beard to be able to skip shaving.

I've rocked a circle beard for about 6 months now. I promise, the itchiness really does subside with time. It helps to both shampoo your beard whenever you wash your hair and comb the beard daily.

I'm pretty *** lazy, so my general rule of thumb is to shave only when it starts to itch. A few months ago I was even lazier than usual, and out-lasted that itchy stage. So yeah, full-on scraggly as *** beard, not a good look on me. I ran a #2 over it (over my whole head actually) a few weeks ago though and am actually liking the look. I still have a small patch on one side that just doesn't grow properly, but I think I'm the only one that it actually seems to bother.

I typically just let it go for a couple weeks at a time unless I am meeting people for something for some reason... I don't get to interact with humans much anymore so for the most part I don't care about it XD

I hate shaving though lol irritation etc. I basically just grab the hair on my chin, pull it down as far as I can, grab a pair of scissors, cut as close to my chin as I can, throw the hair in my hand in the trash and call it a day.

I used to be like wtf to body hair but honestly at some point you just accept there's nothing you can do unless you spend like an hour shaving or something a day or throw down a few grand on lazer hair removal.

I go through various phases of it, and just shave accordingly, a few weeks of smooth skin, few weeks of stubble, then let the stubble grow into a beard and start all over again.
Though like you I wouldn't be opposed to requests as to a specific style.

I used to be really neurotic about body hair when I dated alot.
I can be comfortable being fully shaved, but I can tell you shaved armpits suck, can't understand how ladies can do it.
I adopted a trim policy for all body hair as I got older because shaving just makes me feel itchy thinking about it when it comes to body hair.

Scraggly looks fine but it cuts my face, and that's awful. I've had like dry peely itchy blistery skin because of that.

Actually amusingly enough goatees are one of the few facial hair styles I'm ok with. Doesn't interfere with my face typically, and it makes you look mature. My first maaaajor major crush (he turned out to be gay) had a goatee. D:
