Bst Feet Seals Advice

I got my bst base feet after organizing a shout pt and some LS mates that needed a few base feet.

So killed Seps last night about 12-14 times. Proced yellow about 90% of the time. Thing is I only got 2 bst feet seals. Is that normal? did I have bad luck ? or what mob would you guys recommend for me to get my seals by based on experience from other NM's? There is Dvalinn (Forced pop drops Ki for Durinn) that drops it and Hrosshvalur (Fish by area boss that is a timed spawn). I try to stay away from time spawn NM because I normally start parties with 1 person per seal and staggers to be more efficient but I do not mind doing a timed spawn NM with with it works out best for the group. Dom ops for seals is a joke imo (based on experience).

Any advice would be appreciated.

ive noticed a few things in my search for seals. fo all my jobs. each NM has a favorite seal they like to drop. even if you do proc yellow. and some days no matter waht you do it jsut wont drop the seals you need.

i have alos noticed what i like to call the 7 seal curse. that it can drop all the seals u want but once u get to 7 and only need 1 more. it stops dropping them. your not doing anythign wrong. it was jsut in a cycle were it was being stingy. keep trying and usally ranger is the stingy seal for sep.

lat night we farmed head seals and off a NM that usally drops tons of MNK and thf seals with ninja being the rare. all it would drop was ninja. 3 people finished ninja before we got any ones thf or mnk head finished.

just SE playingther normal cruel jokes on us. chin up and keep trudging along hommie

I soloed seps for my BST seals. Youre just having bad luck.
It is the easiest of the NMs to pop and kill. especially solo. If you have a decent group, when then take your pick of NMs.

Funny thing is Last night Rng and Sch dropped like crazy. Rdm got 5 seals and I got shafted with 2 Bst seals.

I have also noticed that a particular NM favors to drop certain seals while seals farming.

its all luck spooks buddy~ i got a ***ton of bst seals feet on day one pumping me to 6 seals in about a sitting and day2 i don see any bst seals but rng.... on 3rd session i finally saw my last 2 bst seals on the 5th kill.... stuff is all based on luck~ like xilk says "welcome to se's random generating numbers" oh god i so wana snap xilk's galka face in when i logon tonight coz of that generating number thing he tells me all the time...

Your story brought back some painful memories of Seps. fought him an untold number of times with blm and blu and people were getting 8/8 on rdm and sch before i got 2 bst.

I got my seals! ^^ I went the following day as Bst and Ninja to solo and found it easier on Nin. I got another bst seal that way. Warped out and about 30min-1 Hour later I decided to go as blm to see if anyone was killing. To my luck there was ppl there and no one was on bst. I got my last 5 seals in less than 15 min.

Thats so random.

After farming for seals for my 8 jobs that was the first time I had that happen to me XD

The other day I was going for beastmaster leg seals I only had 2 and we kept doing Sir and everything dropped but ferine. Went to Flame Skimmer and Puk and one drop out of 6 drops I finally ended up nickling and diming my way to 8. I go out yesterday and I guess someone was running from Flame Skimmer and it's at the flux so we put a beat down no yellow nothing but dipper on him and he drops 3 ferine . . . . smh it's shameful the way SE does things sometimes.

Luckily my friend Rawpwr's toon got them for his bst so they didn't got to waste. I have vowed to just leave an area after 5 or 6 pops and come back another day it has served me good, cause I don't even remember getting my hand, or feet seals cause they where so fast!

Any one Biz wants to hook up for seals I can come BLM, WHM, PLD, WAR. Just need like like 1's and 2"s to finish peices. Let me know please.
