CoP Mission 8-3 Battle "When Angels Fall"

Anyone have any info on soloing the four Ix'zdei pots to beat this mission? I have BST and BLU to 90 and DNC close to 90. I've been able to solo everything up to this fight but I cannot figure out a way to kill those ***. I've seen info on PUP soloing it but my PUP is only 20 and I can't find help from anyone on this.

I did this with BLM, WHM, SAM. BLM aggros all and when they're together ES + Sleepga. SAM 2hrs and takes care of the BLM pots. If still alive, start on RDM pots. If group wipes, the pots wont aggro if you dont die by door. Just RR and finish off last two pots after unweak. They dont regen after wipes anymore. Do as much dmg possible, wipe, RR, repeat

Edit: Given the 15 lvl increase and new omfg gear, shouldn't you be able to do this fight without wiping? I know I did it at 75... So... I can only imagine what the gear and 15+ lvls can do. <_<

Go BLU, buff up > *** a pot up > wipe/reraise > repeat. Should be able to knock out two small pots in one wipe. Might not even have to wipe, if you can land dream flower (don't think so though).

This won't be a cakewalk solo, even at 90. The pots are highly resistant to sleep, so mock if you will

And fwiw, I tried this on BST multiple times. Hard to get outta aga3 range with the BLM pots when keeping your pet alive

We mocked because he asked for a solo and you gave a list of obvious jobs. And they're not hard to sleep as long as you've got BLM or /BLM. Well. Back in the old PT setup anywho.

You will only sleep them ONCE with ES, after that they'll rape you. So how is blu going to solo it? I've seen blu solo some crazy ***so I don't doubt it, just wOndering what strategy you all are referring to...so??

You can sleep them -twice- with ES. Because I've done it with RDM using ES first and then BLM using it second. Or two BLMs using ES. So maybe more than twice but that's about as far as we needed to go.

Chain Affinity/Efflux QC and some other high DD spells can bring one down easily, you could kill one and RR, unweaken, kill another, possibly RR again if they kill you, rinse and repeat. You could even throw in a BA CW too

That doesnt sound like a solo strat to me

I have soloed this on Bst. Load up on Dawn Muslim and Zeta.
Send in Dipper and stay back because of -agas. Like someone else mentioned positioning can get a bit tricky due to lack of room.

Dipper will eventually start focusing on the blm pots, once they get low on HP they will move back to start position and regen their HP. At this point it's crucial that you keep your pet on the Pot that is regening or you will never get them all killed. Use snarl everytime you can.

Nothing super fancy gear wise. Ferine Quijotes+1, Selemnus Belt, and -pdt Axes (Honestly I can't remember if I used these or evasion axes).

P.s.- "Dawn" can be soloed in the same fashion, but you can melee when no AOE spam.

And since you were referring to a three man, I was referring to a possible 3-man. WHM could go /BLM.
