My girlfriend bought me the newest Dawkins book as a birthday gift and I'm about 140 pages in so far and its very engaging. The argument for evolution seems as solid as ever and I was wondering what FFXI players think on the subject.

Do you guys believe it? No? Creationist? Young-earth or Old-earth?

This is just my opinion, but if you think the Earth is only a few thousand years old, you're intelligence-impaired. Similar if you disbelieve in evolution..

Where's that pic of someone saying evolution can't be real because they saw the monkies in a zoo, and they didn't evolve into people..

I agree. The evidence is just irrefutable really. Dawkins is a little pretentious and a lot zealous, but I'd highly recommend the book to anyone interested in the subject. It doesn't break any new ground but goes over the history and several very interesting and provocative experiments.

I recently played through FireRed. Started with Bulbasaur. God Venusaur sucks. Retired her at 32 and replaced her with a Vaporeon. Slaughtered the elite four and my highest poke was only level 60. rest in the low 50s.

Vaporeon all the way.
EDIT: Snorlax tank ftw.

My rival's Charizard was a ***. So in the final battle when I had to deal with this beastly lv.64 Charizard my 58 Vaporeon helped take him out swiftly.

My team was pretty pro. Raichu, Vaporeon, Snorlax, Primeape, Pidgeot, and Moltres.

With sunny day venasaur's solarbeams are single turn shots so not so slow now!

I guess sunny day would help charizard though, maybe I'd cycle out for that matchup.

This is now a Pokemon/Evolution thread. I'm a little sleepy so I don't feel like posting all the cool ***I've read in this book. But I'll probably get to it tomorrow. It'd be a fun debate, I think, at least if FFXIAH has any creationists in the house.

When did Lefeon and Glaceon come about? I haven't played anything pokemon past gold/silver, so I'm only familiar with Umbreon and Espeon and the original 3.
