Skyrim singleplayer or Skyrim singleplayer with multiplayer aspects - which is superior?
I wasn't debating singleplayer games vs multiplayer games - just that multiplayer has far more longevity/fun potential than singleplayer. Multiplayer capability and human interaction is a definite positive when comparing any game to Skyrim.

Depends on what aspect of multiplayer you partake in. Many are subjective to the game or how you engage it.
For example, Call of Duty is plagued with angry, racist, sailor mouthed pubescent 12 year olds that are more or less random skirmishes and e-peen contests as to who can kill whom the most and quickest; yet at the same time, having a group of friends form a group or clan and organize teamwork and stratagize can make for fun tactful action in say Battlefield 3.
Not to say any are exempt of the former, but your idea of multiplayer seems to pertain mostly to MMOs since that is the only genre that really lets you meet up and engage in a task together more so than any co-op or multiplayer FPS.
But enough of my ramblings. This is after all a LOL thread.

EVERY game is plagued by a negative aspect. Every activity in every walk of life is plagued by a negative aspect. It is always about meeting good people and having fun; this can happen in CoD/Battlefield/MMOs/fighting games/whatever!
Multiplayer aspects, implemented well, tend to give a game a massive lifespan as they add an element of "human chaos" to a game, different from playing with scripted encounters or NPCs for a lifetime.
Think of the lifespan of MMOs/FPSs/whatever. Will Skyrim last that long? Will you still be playing it in months to come?
