Not quite as hardcore but equally as daft... how the hell do you pour it into a glass without spilling the milk all over the place.... seems waaaayy to complicated..
There's usually 2-3 smaller bags in those which go in something like this...

You won't find bags everywhere you go in Canada either. I've been in Nunavut, PEI and NF and they don't have them.

Those with epilepsy might want to be a bit careful looking at this one

I dont think we'd survive pitcher milk. but I was of the generation who drank chocolate milk bags in elementary school also. So its not so strange...sorda.. but yeah this was the expensive milk..we generally get the cheaper milk but its still like 3-5$ depending on the week. We had milk in bags in WI, as well at a convenience store called Kwik Trip. Probably still do. Anyway, the pitcher has a little notch in the end opposite of the handle. What you do is cut the corner on that end, then when you're done with the milk, shove the opened corner into that small little wedge, which then closes it. Not as efficient as a jug, but imagine the room in your fridge when your milk comes in bags.

Yep, they still have it. I actually just noticed it there a few days ago and thought it was a little weird. Sylph.Alternanthera

milk in bags?!?! Doesn't that make it a bit hard to pour on yer cereal? I guess it's easier for you canucks cuz it's always so cold the milk is slushy. But us folks in sunny California need cartons or jugs for eatin' our cereal and yellin at the TV. :D
Lived in Canada whole life, never seen bagged milk ever.
I don't like bags to be honest.
You have to open them so often, find scissors, throw the little tip you cut off in the garbage. Not to mention, if you poor improperly, you get a bunch of milk stuck near the spout/cut bit and when you put it down it still pours out. |
