I got a debit/credit card but I never have much money on it incase this sort a things happen, and can easily transfer between my accounts if I really need the cash on the card asap.

yup, me too cerelyn. There is usually like $5 on the prepaid all the time. Transfering funds is easy =)

That sounds like a good idea, but don't you have to pay some kind of activation fee every time you dump more cash into it per month?

No, but alot of pre paid cards require a minimum load of, say, 20.00 or so.

No, but alot of pre paid cards require a minimum load of, say, 20.00 or so.

Do you know of any examples? The only ones I know of are these prepaid (unreloadable) visa cards which cost like $5 to activate each time, or GreenDot which also has an activation fee and a fee for recharging each time.

The moneymart prepaid visa works like this:

2$ deducted from whatever you put into it,
7$ monthly charge

Does anyone know if you can even play after "paying" for this month? anyone?
