At this point in life, I finally know how to talk to women and get dates. I'm just not sure if I want to try again. Funny enough, years ago I was the opposite, wanting to try but not having a clue what to do. Go figure.

You might be fretting too much about how this "has to play out", Artoolmecion. :/ Would it really be so terrible if you were to go hang out with that other couple there (by yourself) for the evening instead?

I know it's kind of weird but if you are comfortable with them (as people) then it wouldn't be so awkward after all? It just seems like a lot less stress to resign yourself to a (potentially fun and social) evening out but having to be a third-wheel than maybe trying to hammer together some quasi-relationship on-the-fly type thing (especially on some kind of deadline.)

For sure this is the best place to offer tickets to the event...there are (likely) female Rammstein fans as well as fans that would dig that game music orchestra here (it's very famous.) And it's a really generous offer for sure--but it might be more trouble than it's worth trying to force together an evening instead of maybe just going there with the intent to enjoy it all and have fun no? :)

I guess what I am getting at is that the majority of the anxiety over this that you might be feeling comes from the disappointment felt because that one girl changed her plans (and maybe didn't communicate things the way you were expecting.) So you are shifting into "salvage the event from being a fiasco" mode when maybe it might be best to shift to "I'll go there and just have lots of fun anyhow and enjoy the show" mode in spite of how the original plans might have fallen through. :/

I've lived throughout history and my favorite times were back in the Roman days. It was a simple time back then. Nowadays, there are all these rules and laws and *** that makes everything so difficult.

Although I agree it may be nice to go back to those "simpler" times, I prefer not dying horribly to easily treatable diseases and such >.<
