lol so all these swords sitting on the shelves of nerds are made the way they were? Most are gonna be crappy replicas that are gonna slice half way through a neck and get stuck. Also a half chopped neck on a human is death, not on a zombie.

Idk the guys I knew on the Seawolf made it sound like about the same amount of major maintenace as any boat. If you wanted to really cut down on that and required crew size and of course modularity you should get a Virginia class. But the Seawolf is one fast mfing fast sub. And forward and aft torpedo rooms!!!

If I buy a swd it is going to be something useful. Also you don't have to decapitate. You could slice part of there head off. And not all swds are meant for slashing. Alot of the european ones were just kinda like big semi sharp crowbars lol. Though there was a place in spain that made good ***iirc. Part of it isn't just the sharpness but giving them some flexibility and give but not too much. And some are for stabbing

Most swords couldnt do that anyway the reason they where used so much in olden times is because they would Smash bones and the person would die from the infection or from having an organ rupture. <_<

the only "Slicing" swords used where the katana and they can go through multiple bodys when well made

It's speculated that necrotic flesh taken from a zombie that's been effectively eliminated is harmless in the infection process, but still likely to hold some other bacteria afterward.

I'd probably say it'd be infectious in my opinion anyway, though.

I don't know if anyone else here as attacked someone with a melee weapon but it's not as easy as one might think.
Be it a bat or crowbar or maybe an old hockey stick that they cut down so just the handle and some of the stick is left and it fits really nicely under you're driver seat. You take a swing at someone and you have about a 1-2 second period where you're open while trying to bring it back up at them.

I didn't know you've fought zombies before my bad. In my mind the zombies are like ragers in the 28 days movies. I guess everyone just hopes that they'd be the slow mindless shuffling ones.

At any rate there no shining chance in hell that i'd ever want to get close to one and expend all that energy wildly swinging whatever was in my hands killing them rather then hang back a few hundred yards and just pick them off.

Also until it happens it's not fact.
