Happy To Announce

As a Few of my good friends may know, I've been begging my girlfriend for over a year to play final fantasy with me. She's notorious for all the names she's given it, Final ***, Final ***-Tree, Final Losery, etcetc. Well, after constantly being poked at by her about my play time hours ( which are ridiculous ) I finally convinced her to just well, try it, so I made her a character. And had her kill bunnies. She loves FFXI now, we just went out and got her an xbox. I know you don't care. But I think its a fantastic occasion when you convince someone you know IRL to come into the world of ffxi!!!

lol ive known dozens of people who are violently against FFXI until they play it.... some of them are coming up on year number 3 and 4 now rofl.....

As Reublucian did I had made her her own character to tinker around on and she happily went about saruta nuking mandies for all of 10 minutes...
To this day she despises the amount of time i've spent online and continues to refer to it as "The Game".

"When are you getting off the game?"
"I hate the game"
"I'm gonna delete the game"

I like to razz her by telling her it's "game night" before each log on. lol.

My husband gave me FFXI for Christmas after I pouted over him playing too much. Now I love it! But he still can't get me into any of the other FF games. Just this one! And no Halo or Gears of War, either.

Despite my many efforts, I can't get my fiance to stay into FFXI. :( It's just not his lolWoW, I suppose. Grats for getting your gf into game. :3

got my fiancee to start playing recently as well, lol. she was a big hater just like the OP dealt with. but now shes all into it and wants to hit 75 so she can do end game with me.

I've only ever gotten one person to play FFXI, and he doesn't really count since he played waaaay back in the day (like, 05 maybe?), switched to WoW, got burnt out on the endless 40-man raids 6 days a week, and came back. Everyone else that I've showed it to just doesn't seem interested...

Maybe I should show them the game when I'm not camping Lizzy or crafting lol

Haha na man, I'm gonna farm for the both of us so I can buy us stuff because she's lazy, but I'm not gonna be one of those people who like run dynamis ls, and give there gf/wife the first drop of everything. That's just being a douchebag..

my only problem now is supporting two chars, lol. but wish i had someone when i first started to set me in the right direction and give me pimp gear from the get go, lol.
