Gary Oak has a Nidoking. That's the only motivation you ever need to get one.

My Steelix has Sheer Force XD! You can get that ability legitimately but with certain requirements. Who needs Nidoking when Steelix has broken defence and nice power.

He doesn't have much of a movepool to take advantage of it, unfortunately.

I almost couldn't breath when I read that, can't stop laughing. But anyways Steelix can fight back Water Types since he can learn all types of Fang attacks. Sheer Force can only be obtained if you get Onix from Dream World. I'm not sure what's his hidden ability if his basic one IS Sheer Force.

@ Austar I haven't had Black 2 that long and I don't directly have time to constantly play it >__>

Out of my gameplays, I still believe Platinum was one of the best versions.

I'm sure it does work well in game, competitively(or even PWT) would be a different story though. His Speed and Special defense are just to low, any stray surf or scald or fire blast is probably going to one shot him.
Unless he has Sturdy, but then the fangs go back to a really weak 65 power.

Really no comparison between Sheer Force Nidoking and SF Steelix. The amount of moves Nidoking can use with that ability is massive compared to Steelix's.
But Karen etc, should use whatever you want in game.

Nidokings SP def isn't far off to Steelix's SP def but... I don't know I always been a fan to Steelix. I really want a Tyranitar though, that thing has wrecked me numerous times.

Tyranitar's actually the best "overall" pokemon stats wise (That isn't a legendary)

edit: one of the best, it's up there with Dragonite, Slaking and Garchomp.

Base stats are a bit misleading. The only stat that isn't is speed.

Pseudo's all have the same BST as well, hard to judge "best" by that alone.
Tyranitar is probably my favorite out of the bunch though, followed by Hydreigon. Yet to use either competitively since my Tyranitar is TYRANITAR and my Hydreigon was traded from some random.

I can't actually see the difference between shiny/normal Garchomp...
Can't wait for my Puke green Dragonite though.

You can get Lugia/Ho-Oh/Giratina/Dialga/Palkia in it if you play their respective cartriges. Also gives you the Kami Trio Alternate forms, but you can get those forms traded from Black/White. Just have Landorous to check the shrine for the mirror.

Needs to be a therien forme Landorus unfortunately to get the reveal glass, by which makes the item pointless anyway since landorus is the last one you catch from Dream Radar.

I only bought Dream radar to get a Spiritomb, you can get one via NPC trade in BW2 but nicknames.... ><
I haven't got that far yet though, the time constraint on dream orbs is annoying :x

So anybody know about any trade forums, mainly just want the starters from the originals, squirt, bulb and charm. I assume there's no legit way to get them in game.

Ugh it seems all the gym leaders/etc in pokemon world tournament have max EV's or something lol. They always seem to go first over even the speediest pokemon I have (sometimes I get to go first but its rare) and that ends up being greatly in their favor. Who EV trains anyway!?

You can but you need 2 Two Gameboy colours, 2 gameboy advance and 2 DS.

Edit You can start from Fire Red or Leaf Green. So you'll still need a Gameboy Advance and DS then of course need another DS.
