Minecraft Anyone?

sounds like a mod, also, nether portals are the only open structure in vanilla that I'm aware of. there are quite a few in modded versions, though.

nah, that looks like a mod to me.

I'm not 100% on what you're asking, but vanilla has the nether portal, the stuff you see in your crafting table, & randomly generated structures, those consist of possibly a jungle / desert temples, villages, and underground strongholds with the end portal, and mineshafts. there isn't anything like you described there in vanilla, short of maybe arguably the iron golem, and snowman.

I guess Iron and Snow Golems would mostly qualify, ya. But they are entities, not structures. Being on Xbox has to be pretty limiting, I haven't had much use for mods until very recently, but I hardly play minecraft anyway.

I made an iron golem in the pigmen village but it seems to have despawned and i wasted so much iron on it >_<

finaly reinstalled this after having to restore my pc last month lol....


cant get the resource packs to work now.. wtf did they change about it? used to be able to click it and it set w/e ya selected as the texture packs, now it dost do crap -,-

downloaded a few mods, Pixlemon being one of em, was there a map i should of DLd? cuz it dropped me into the middle of nowhere with no villages or buildings for miles lol

Welp, Minibump. I've been doing a project from FFXI on a Realm Server a friend has... Bastok Markets, its rather incomplete, still working on finishing up the area itself, then I gotta adjust the water level artifically by placing/removing blocks... which will take forever, then comes the mountains around Bastok.

Once done, however, I plan on recreating Metalworks, Port, and Mines... A lot of the areas I'm on, I'm working on guesswork (Though I am floating around Bastok Markets trying to get a general "Scale".

I wish I could find better materials for the walls... I'm using gray wool, but they're a Browny-Cobbel/Stone color that Minecraft can't recreate, I'm using Gray wool due to its darker nature, and the fact brown wool looked hideously out of place.

Why can't I make chiseled stone brick anymore? I'm on xbox360 and was able to make these with 2 stone brick slabs when I first started making my map, I even still have a few left in a chest :/

dumbass minecraft wouldn't increase my ps3 map size when I switched it to ps4 last night. such ***. *** those half-assing idiots.

Anyone else having issues on xbox360 version monster spawners no longer spawning monsters? My Blaze Spawner isn't spawning Blazes anymore. I tried zoning, changing difficulties, various distances, nothing works. This thing used to fill up the whole room with over 40 or so Blaze mobs and now it does nothing at all....

I had this happen to me too, how long did you leave the village for?

Didn't even know people still used this thread. People had some awesome stuff built on that old Blackfrost server. I wonder if anyone saved that map/stuff. Someone had like a full size "airship" up in the air they built.

Assuming you're on one of the earlier 1.8 patches, entities disappearing was a known issue. But, if you left a village in your loaded chunks, it's quite possible a zombie got them.

we've been curing zombie villagers to put in our castle's 'dungeon', many lulz were had.

I haven't play minecraft at all since about 1.8 release. I always build giant farms and the lag issues made it almost unplayable at a certain point. Got bored as well.

I get bored of minecraft incredibly quickly without a buddy around. the only reason our map gets consistently worked on is because it's a friend & I's shared map.

I've tried playing on servers, even keep my own online for my nephews to goof around on, but I always seemed to go really far away and build contraption in a cave in secret. Latency is annoying when you're hosting a private server and it's hard to find a decent pure vanilla server. Most of them use at minimum bukkit plugins and a lot use command blocks and outworlds and whatnot. It just cheapens the experience for me.

I play some games on console, mostly because I prefer a controller for a lot of games.

I was playing for maybe 4 hours looking for diamonds and what not, then went to the village and it was empty...

I ended up making a rail to the neighboring village and sending over 2 villagers to repopulate. also I added a TON of doors, now I have so many villagers,lol.

Speaking of Minecraft, we're going to be updating to Pixelmon 4.0 very soon-- as soon as they release a recommended build (as opposed to beta).

wild life stopped spawning completely
no sheep, pigs, cows, chickens, horses, donkeys etc... nothing
still a fcuk ton of skeletons spawning though -_-
