Who really wants to beleive the world is coming to end, or a major polar shift is upon us. It will be the end to life as we know it now. I keep telling myself that nothing is going to happen. And them it seems a major earthquakes are happening all over the world, dead birds dropping out of the sky 100000 fish dead in the river the list goes on and on. The Scientific community has explanations for all these events. They will say these earthquakes were due to happen, birds die off all the time which is true. I wonder what its gonna take for the human race to acknowledge that something is not quite right. Multiple major earthquakes at the same time? My gut is telling me things are only going to get worse as 2012 approaches. If I had to guess where the next major disaster will take place I would say either off the Cali Coastline or East Coast of the United States. There will be a under Quake that will cause a tsunami and cause devastation on the east or west coast of the Unites States. Seems like the earth is ready to rip apart. I think a year from now alot of people will have a change is heart. I hope I am dead wrong and nothing else major happens, first time in my life all I wanna do is be wrong lol. I wanna keep life the way it is. I like my Final Fantasy my pillow top bed, hot pockets, gatorade, internet porn and doritos.
I don't want to know if the world is going to end (I doubt it is though) until it is actually occurring.
If 2012 is the end of the world, I personally cannot wait to see the ensuing chaos as people lose their sanity and go back to the days of pillaging others.
My belief is that I don't think a Civilization that existed in Stone/wood Huts sacrificing people to Sun-gods was able to predict the exact date the world would end.
They were great Civilizations for their time, And I'm not claiming We've evolved above "worshiping invisible people". I'm just saying i find it highly unlikely our end was predicted years ago. Its a huge coincidence me thinks. Bismarck.Pawnskipper

Dont forget the disappearing of the Bee's. And, yeah, it may be the end coming, but since there is really nothing you can do about it one way or the other, I think we should just go on about our business. If you think about it, if the planet didnt kill us, we would have killed ourselves anyway.
Disappearing bees =.=a?

I would agree with you aside from the fact that thousands of years ago these poeple who ran around wearing leafs for underwear predicted the exact day month and year when then milky way galaxy the sun and earth will all come into perfect aliment. Which was confimerd by nasa. A event which only happens every 26000 years or something like that. How would there civilization know that...... It's just another Y2K scare only hyped by dumb conspiracy theorist and tin hat wearing wingnuts. If you're religious, "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father." If not, dont worry about it, because nothing will happen to you. Earthquakes happen, animals die, we cant change that, but you know, natural disasters happen all the time, it doesnt mean that the Keeper of the Apocalypse is at hand and Promathia wants to .... oh wait, not the end of the world.

How would there civilization know that...... they never actualy SAID the world was gonna end in 2012 tho, we simply assumed that from the fact that their calendars end there.. (dec.21th 10:24AM i think? something like that) maybe they just got bored of writing? <.< Kano1012 said: Asura.Karbuncle said: My belief is that I don't think a Civilization that existed in Stone/wood Huts sacrificing people to Sun-gods was able to predict the exact date the world would end. Are we even using the same Calender System as those "people"? I thought their months/days were different than our current adaptation. meaning the years they predict and what year we're in now are different. Could be wrong. Either way, While im a fan of paranormal things, Like Ghosts, Etc... I Just can't bring myself to believe the World is going to end a year and some months from now. The frequency of said disasters aren't really increasing; actually, ask yourself how much of the world's history anyone knows, let alone you, or even how much of our recorded history you bothered to learn. I use 'you' as a general statement and this includes myself. I doubt the majority of us can name even ten natural disasters or other important events that occurred during our lifetimes - you've heard about Haiti, Japan and Katrina, political goings-on like Iraq, Saddam's execution, little Kim in Korea, but this list is far from complete. I believe someone linked a list of natural disasters in 2010 in another forum and it far surpassed the general public's knowledge/awareness of the amount of events that occurred.
Apply that throughout history and these events are almost meaningless. Besides, 2012 has been disproven in every possible manner, though with science I don't understand as much as I don't understand the science involved in the theory that it will happen. Also, dismissing what scientists say (birds die like that all the time) and then using it for the benefit of this theory (NASA confirmed galactic alignment) is contradictory. I wouldn't worry about it. But if it happens, damn, I guess. Caitsith.Kilorilo said: will not happen, and if it does the world will surely go on fine without us humans raping it. wellll, thats just like your...... opinnion.......... maaaannnnn lol sorry couldnt resist. love the fk outta that movie P.S. I think ***might be going to hell in a handbag, but what can you do? call in sick?dont pay your bills?run for the hills? lol In the past years that i have started to take into consideration how fast our quality of life can leave us ive relized that ppl just wanna be happy so pull your loved ones close an dont stress the small ***if its the end its the end. If not than pat yourself on the back, pick yourself up, dust off your pants an get back on an ride that *** into the sunset ^^ Yup, we're all gonna die alright.
If I were you, I'd stop worrying about manufactured prophecy and start worrying more about the clot forming in your left calf that will someday dislodge causing a massive stroke. But that's just my opinion.... Then again, the crappy thing about doomsday prophecy is that you can be wrong as many times as you want, but you really only have to be right once. Offline

No natural disasters predicted no end of the world predicted, nothing was actually predicted. It was just when their equation had put the end of that calender cycle. in b4 xfile predection of alien inavtion during 2012
