She said Kyoto is perfectly fine, and that it hit the north part of the country. She mentioned that Tokyo and Hokaido were affected very badly. :/ Awful news, I hope everyone stays safe out there. YOU SCARY! i think the best we can do atm is follow the news and hope that not much more damage is caused by the tsunami's who still didnt hit dry land ._.
and all my /comfort for the JPN and Chinese ppl who are involved already! I think i'll take advantage of this tragedy and go emp farm while i have the chance!
In all seriousness, what a tragedy and mad shout outs to new zealand aswell we havent forgot about ya! half my family lives in japan, it's crazy, for my birthday my mom and stepfather were gonna fly me back there to visit too. and after seeing this and hearing that narita airport collapsed in some places. . crazyness. so far it seems like the entire jp side of family is ok though, thankfully. Natural Disasters suck :/
Mere words could never express our gratitude, yet We will try to explain how grateful we are for everything that you have done.
We wish to express our gratitude in place of all Japanese. This has been a crazy 6months. New Zealand's horrific earthquakes starting last year, Australia's floods (inland tsunami wiping out many beautiful country areas) and cyclones and now more earthquakes and tsunamis in Japan and whoever else gets hit by this.
My thoughts are with anyone affected by all of this and I hope all your friends & family are safe. 200 to 300 bodies found in the coast :(
Still expected to rise. Offline

Japanese police discovered hundreds of bodies washed up on the east coast. I'm sorry.
Take care Deathsshadow, I tried to enlist myself but well I guess MEPS didn't like my eye sight. Maybe I should volunteer for red cross? :X What a mess to wake up to.. *** horrible.. =(
My prayers go out to all who are and will be affected from this historical and devastating natural disaster.
Volunteered for red cross just now, I know it's probably not much but every little bit will help.
Yeah this is horrible to hear my condolences goes out to All of the Japanease people. And to All the people WHO Will go and help in Japan, be safe and Take care.
Yes mother Nature Can be very hard and dangerous, when such tings like this happends. But i keep my mind and fingers crosses for everyone. Sorry about the spelling, un the train on my way home from work. Writting on ny IPhone. Tessy I'm stationed in NAF Atsugi, so I'll drop my two cents:
Tokyo and its surrounding areas didn't suffer too much, the tsunamis hitting mostly northern Japan in and around Sendai the hardest. That place is a complete wreck. I fully suspect people like myself to be kept here past our order expiration to help clean up. Yokota, Yokosuka, Atsugi and Zama military bases only suffered minor damage, no one has been reported injured or dead. Military aid is already en route, most of the 7th fleet is mobilized and ready to get in with the cleaning. As someone who's lived here for two years, my biggest concern being... that was a huge fkin quake right next to a waking volcano (Mt. Fuji) Lets hope that fker don't blow his stack, because we'll get trashed beyond repair if that happens. Valefor.Houppelande

God forbid there's some humor in tragedy, be too serious and it will kill you man. Don't get me wrong, I feel bad, but I make fun of everything, so deal with it.
P.S. Down to the question that we're all wanting to ask... Are the JP's still on FFXI? humor from tragedy after the clean up please.
as for japanese on FFXI, I'm south of Tokyo right now, we never lost power or internet, a lot of Japan wasn't affected, so yes, they're still here. Still unclear about a boat that had about 80 people on it.
really makes me wonder if I didn't see some of those places that got trashed and don't even know it, I've been all over japan on trips and tours, and I could have very well met any number of Japanese individuals who are now either dead, homeless, or missing.
