I believe i am the OP, who requested deep plots. As such, if i deem it to have a shallow plot, then that is very revelent to this thread. Please check the situation before trying to force you're opinion.

so you can assert your opinion all you want, but you aren't asking people what your opinion is, you are asking what their opinion is..which is the bottom line.
you could have easily just ignored my suggestion, but rather than doing that you had to assert your opinion in a piss on what you like kind of way, which i don't take kindly to, nor do most people.
so you can put it on me like i'm such a *** trying to sway you or some ***, but we all know what's really going on.
ex.
OP: suggest some good deep animes, only good ones though! not naruto!
Me: trigun was one of my favorites

i think i fancy desert shooter animes, as i find desert punk to be pretty damn good as well.
Trigun was too shallow plot wise, and the music sucked imo. Have seen it tho, including badlands rumble.
This means simply, i HAVE seen it, and the plot was TOO SHALLOW for what i was after. I then said that the music sucked IN MY OPINION, meaning it was not what I AM AFTER. How is this pissing on what you like?

Yeah well, it has some really big absence. Perfect Blue is missing along with Paprika and Tokyo Godfathers, Summer Wars too, as 2 of the 3 master pieces of Sci-fi in anime Akira and Batle Angel Alita. and as for series Meitantei Conan (Case Closed i think it is the name in English), Bakemonogatari and Skip Beat r missing too. But i guess this list is done for ppl who r starting to watch anime and need to catch up. What i do when noone can tell me what to watch that i haven't already see yet is, i go to ann and start looking for ***that i haven't see and take a look at them. I see a lot of crap, but eventually i find something wirth while.

As i indicated it was MY OPINION, i was not asking your own opinion as you had ALREADY declared that you like trigun. As such, you dont have the right to get upset over MY OPINION.

Yeh, it could just be out of date (although saying that theres a lot of FAIRLY new anime on it...so dunno.

Giving my opinion had merit, as it would then inform posters of an anime type i found undesirable and thus they could compare their suggestions to this. Using first Naruto and then Trigun, both being popular animes, was a fairly efficient method of drawing comparisons imo.

Ok here might be a stupid question but was wondering what anime's stuck out more for you as ones you liked seiri? I myself have been having some issues finding anime that sticks out with out boring me. Was able to find some that i liked with the help of this thread as well as the other one.
Well yeh, been watching anime now for nearly 6 years and have pretty much exhausted most avenues.
Looking for something with a good plot - no shallow narutoesque bullcrap for example. Ideally with good animation quality, although not important. Good music is a must.
Pretty much any genre, although no dedicated ecchi or fanservice focused stuff please - some ecchi is fine so long as it isnt a major part of the plot, like the To Aru Majitsu No Index and spinoffs come to mind as examples.
Examples of stuff i've loved:
Baccano!, Durarara!!, death note, Ouran HS host club, Ef: a tale of the two, rebuild of evangelion (2.0 especially), kuragahime, Angel beats!, Break Blade, Bakuman, Bokurano, Clannad/AS, darker than black, Higurashi no Eden, Ghost in the shell, Level E, GTO, kaicho wa maid sama, Gunslinger girls, Noein, Seitokai Yakuindomo, Shiki, SOUL EATER, Spice and wolf, Full metal panic - especially fumoffu, To aru kagaku no railgun (and index), Toradora, crest/banner of the stars, Umineko no nako koro ni, vampire knight, Working!.
Manga examples, Kaze Hikaru, Hoshi no Samidere (lucifer and the buiscit hammer), Otomen, eternal sabbath, Dogs bullets and carnage, Hana Kimi, Black Lagoon.
Looking primarily for anime over manga, tho exceptional mangas please recommend!
I realise im asking a lot and im not expecting anything~ but pretty much out of watchable material and down to rewatches.
