Aside from KFH I don't see a lot of Ifrit activity, so it might seem like Ifrit and Odin are a good merge, thankfully we keep our name, since ifrit took it up the butt from Ramuh anyway.

Still, I'm more concerned about what this means for FFXI as a whole, another world merge can't really be good for this game's long-term prospects, lol. But Hey, Armored Core V is going to be persistent Online, so maybe I have something to fill the void this game will surely leave when it finally does go belly up.

This really is quite crappy. I'm gutted we're the mergee's. Still how many Odin's are doing the Qutrub dagger trial right now? That would be handy to have more help with that.

I don't think Ifrit needs to be merged, we're quite a large server anyway.

Seriously though, I'm a little scared here to merge, I think Ifrit (My home since the day the game opened in the US only on PC no annoying PS2 kids!) has had it really, really lucky. There's really not specific douchebags I can name, just some snobby elitist people. There's really not a lot of competition from camping things, and generally if you ask someone 'How many more kills?' you get an answer and move on your merry way to return.

200 people in abyssea / dragon aery-like JP times makes me super, super sad. I was the only person in Tahrongi for hours just the other day. (Yea, yea, nothing in Tahrongi anyhow I know. I was getting whm cape.)

I think Ifrit is in for some "culture shock".

How are parties there? I think that could be a plus, I'm sick of waiting through morning hours seeking! Are there a lot of ninja leeches though? It's a common thing here that someone caps then comes back <50 etc.

Well I have been off xi for awhile, but I do plan on coming back soon... dang... my server is merging with Odin? Well I hope it works out for the better for everybody... I'm optimistic about it anyways... Gonna need a new social LS and such now hehe.

Ifrit, one of the original summon/esper/aeon/wtfever from the FF series and a constantly recurring character. Plus, He is never replaced by some guy that sounds like an MTV hiphop show yoyojimbo.

As far as Ifrit, we're one of the lower pops, i would expect. We used to be heavy with JP's because I think Ifrit was one of the original servers when JP version was released, then they rolled out more servers for NA players.

Most of the old school activities have died out, from what I can tell, but I'm sure there is still interest. That's part of the problem on Ifrit, there are people interested in doing things, just not enough of them. Like, I am interested in selling ***. Not enough people are interested in buying.

We have a mix of players here, really. Just like anywhere else, you have shitty and you have good. Get ready for full pearly melees!

Full pearly melees is better than some 3/5 and 4/5 set melees I've come across... you be ready!
