That's a good idea. Maybe like a Wall of Shame or something. I like how The Escapist does it actually, though the half of it wouldn't work over here. When a user is banned, or whatever, all of their posts are greyed out, but still readable. The post they were banned for is hidden though, you can show it.
Edit: Dammit, Dasva beat me to the Hall/Wall of Shame idea.

i think if you give people enough warnings that the GMs should just mod their posts into something embarrassingly flamboyant instead of pending moderation.

The pending moderation is automated when there is a # of reports on the post.
