been thinking of playing Rift again. i'm in one of those moods were i'm just mad at FFXI. i havn't been keeping up on updates either. so..bleh, i wish all FFXIAH people were on the same server, so i could play with you guys D:

If you are a fan of WoW style gameplay I guess, I found it to be extremely boring. Was basically an exact clone of WoW with a slight difference in the customization of the job type things (which ended up being specific builds that were acceptable iirc).

How long did you play?
Because sounds like you dubbed it a exact clone far before you would have experienced how it becomes it's own game.
It has similarities...but it has it's own draws that you see after 30ish.
I made it to level 15 or so. I just wasn't feeling it, felt just like WoW to me.

Hey it's my opinion.. don't you think a prospective buyer would want to hear all sides of the fence? I found it very boring, mainly because of its extreme similarity to WoW which I also find very boring. You honestly won't be able to tell the difference between the two, they are so close. I actually find FFXI to be fun, in regards to your question.

I went back to FFXI after a three to four year hiatus, and found it very tedious.
