Now that my gaming rig seems to have stabilized, I am finishing up the configuration of my streaming programs. Debating on if I want to use this for Rift. The built in YouTube recording is pretty nice, but it doesn't show the cursor. Can be a tad bit annoying when trying to show something that involves clicking.

if you use vent or w/e while recording using the feature does it record the chat from vent or w/e in the recording? if so could just emphasize on what they are suppose to be clicking i suppose

I don't have vent installed on my gaming PC right now. It's on my laptop next to me. To answer the question though, I can have it record/stream my microphone along with the game sounds. Currently configuring that, actually.

Edit: So random that it won't play my microphone through the KVM.

so if I buy rift... do I have to put a credit card on file to play (like so I can play the free month I assume it has?) and then just buy like 1 month here or 3 months here when I feel like it?

You can buy the time cards from what I *thought I saw* on the rift website.

Yeah I see that also (I think) but ... I just dun wanna buy it and then be forced to put a cc on it lol (if I do i'll just put some dead one on there that has like .30 cent in it :p)

You don't have to put CC information in to do the trial.

say I upgrade to a retail copy and register the account, but don't want to have to make sure my account has money in it so I could just say .. pay for a month then when it runs out it "Deactivates" until I put another month or two or three on it.

One thing that some people do is put the CC on, pay for the sub they want, then remove the CC from their account.

(And you mentioned the trial in parenthesis =P )

Yeah may be what I end up doing, I kinda like this game but I still wanna keep going with xi for a bit longer (I still like it but i'm getting that meh factor again >.>)

I'll be back on Rift once my computer stops flipping out. I was adjusting video settings, and my screen went black. Couldn't get it to go away without restarting. Now I'm waiting on the update I've been putting off to install. 19%...

It does get easier, Angel. I would still prefer playing this with a controller just for diving though. LOL!

lol ok so ... uh...


I was able to get the CE cause of the nice memorial day weekend sale thing (yay :D) and I SHOULD have enough for 1 extra month after the free month (just will have to switch cards to mine once I get the money in my account lol)

Still trying to sell a few things so might be able to get a few more months also xD


Also the Authenticator... worth it?
