FFXI Instal Related

Hey guys Im just curious about this, let's see if anyone knows.

Would copying the files for FFXI and transfering through an external harddrive to another pc work in case you dont have the installation disk? Or would the installation disk still be required?

Im trying to find my disk but havent had any luck and didnt want to try and download the files through the net now that this came to mind.

you'd need a disk or install file.. as you'd have the files but not the registry information.

Hmm ok, thank you. I got curious bcuz Steam was taking too long.

np, ive thought it mysefl a few times.

if you knew anything about registry key's you could do it.. but then its probably longer to do that than to download the file :P
