Wow FFXI starcraft-original guildwars You know which game I always wanted to see placed into a MMO style format...Xenosaga. The Matrix Online - 1 year (beta included)
FFXI - 4-4.5 years :o Lord of the Rings Online - 1 month during beta WoW - 5 days Star Trek Online - 2 weeks FFXIV - 2 months That should be in the correct order. I have yet to find a MMO that can take me in as much as XI has. Leviathan.Draylo said: Gunbound I played the ***out of Gunbound back in 2004? The boomerang bot was the best ;) Everquest Online Adventures and FFXI. Seen a few others be played, Guildwars looked interesting.
I popped wow and Runescape for about an hour each and got bored, so I wouldn't really say I've played them. I'd suggest everyone give Guild Wars a go.
The skill system makes it so you can make unique builds, and that's pretty fun. PSO followed by PSU

I really enjoy it, although some of my friends have been calling it a wow clone. Ive always enjoyed games with a lot of grind in them, I'm really looking forward to getting into the pvp part of the game. Everquest Online Adventures:Frontiers(PS2)--about 6-7 years
EQPC(PC...Duh)--couple weeks and was getting into it but my PC didn't really handle it too well so stopped. FFXI(PS2,PS3,360)--Err...Good question on how long I've played...in total, somewhere between 7-9 years. Rift(PC)--Maybe...like it so far but not sure if I want to lose hours without knowing it again lol. "what MMOs have you played?"
Dark Age of Camelot Eve FFXI There are some in betweens that didn't last more than a few days/weeks like (Star Wars, Lineage, etc) Quote: ramzaa said: richwood said: ramzaa said: ffxi guild wars ffxiv WoW AoC Rift LOTRO AION perfect world Lineage II Everquest runescape Currently playing ffxi and rift Funny...I see Everquest from Rift...but I've never played WoW so... Either way...addicting... Ultima Online for years. posibly the first MMO (yeah i was a goldfarmer heh)
WoW on chamber of aspects for about 3months, killed lich king before laptop died. Conan round at friends, it's awesome and has pretty horrific battles FFXI of course since feb2006 on hydra server (xbox beta R.I.P) I like them all really, on ultima you could kill anyone you wanted to, on WoW you can kill NPCs, Conan has loads of blood, FFXI has global servers, although i'm kinda missing the fafhogg camping. Just one more 7th window NQ plz plz Asura.Revelation

Dragon Court (doesn't really count, put it there anyways) Everquest Everquest OA Everquest II Star Wars Galaxies The Matrix Online FFXI City of Heroes/Villians Guild Wars WoW LoTRO Aion FFXIV Rift That's really just the MMORPG's, too many plain "MMOs" to count. Oh and I started MMORPG's when I was 8. Feel like I missed 1 :/ Shiva.Ninaa

Ive always enjoyed games with a lot of grind in them, I'm really looking forward to getting into the pvp part of the game. Warfronts are really fun, I am not normally a PVP player, but I find myself queuing up for them quite a lot. I have played FFXI, which was my first. PSO, but only in offline mode >.> WoW for a couple months. FFXIV, which I liked, but has nothing to keep you playing, hope it gets to a point where it is fun again. Am now playing Rift, I am enjoying it, it does seem to borrow heavily from WoW, and I feel like I might get bored with it too quickly, as I did with WoW. ahhmmmmm...
The Realm (mid to late 80's) predates Ultima ON-line. Near the end the Thf class could actually steal from other players. If you died you lost the most expensive of your items, equiped or not. Very 2-d Acheron's Call- still lost items when you died but you had up to an hour to recover your corpse, if you died in a particularly rough area you may have multiple corpses to recover and and be very weakened. Final FantasY XI LotrO (don't play it, but husband, daughter and son do) Final Fantasy XXIV (don't like it as it is now) awww =') i thought my thread had died
im surprised at the amount of people who played rappelz, i tried getting back into it a few weeks ago, but it doesnt like widescreen.. do you still play aika soube? im currently kinda playing it, havent been on the past week because of forsaken world though. i have a 50RM and ive also been lvling cleric. i've looked at the info for GW2 and it looks really interesting, i might need to give that a go FFXI for the better half of its life, and a small bit of WoW.
Every time i look at a new MMO, I always get the feeling its trying too hard to be a "WoW" Killer, and in that light, all feel like WoW Clones to me. That being said, Once FFXI dies, I Have no plans to start another MMO, Too much money and time wasted. Unless FFXIV becomes really good, Either way, I just don't like the idea of ditching one game for another mid-process. The idea of starting from scratch in a MMO never sounds fun to me... But hey, Maybe some day. Cerberus.Halfpint said: Final Fantasy XXIV (don't like it as it is now) Ramuh.Vinvv said: Phantasy Star Online happens to be the only MMO that has nostalgia value for me. Just sucks the good gear was SO DAMN RARE >_> I ended up getting everything through duping lol >_< I occationally start it up again, fun as hell with a few friends! Sucks the servers were put down ;;(Atleast for gamecube, idk if it's still running for PC?) Cerberus.Kvazz said: Phantay Star Online Final Fantasy XI World of Warcraft, tried it when it came out, and playing it again now when ffxi is down :P Final Fantasy XIV alpha/beta, havent touched it after that. OH! Forgot Age of Conan. Had alot of fun with that game while some of my friends were playing it. Once everybody else quit I saw no reason to continue and went back to XI:P Shiva.Flionheart said: I'd suggest everyone give Guild Wars a go.
