I'm having a similar issue's i changed to a mule then back to main said content id's inactive and then timed out >.>
Been trying to get back on for a good 30mins or so .

From Feb. 21, 2011 17:00 to Feb. 22, 2011 3:00 (PST), we will be conducting PlayOnline server maintenance in conjunction with the Square Enix Account Management System maintenance. During this time, PlayOnline and FINAL FANTASY XI will be unavailable.

My bro and the whole ls still in the game so it's not the maintenance, just a Pol network problem.

Actually it starts 1am on 22nd Feb. for us EU people. Ends 11am. So not so bad for a change!

Getting the same error, but yeah I was under the impression there wasn't a maintenance until tomorrow. Started wondering if it was the solar flare stuff, but that proly would have kicked people off altogether.
