So
Are there still mobs with drops that sell rather well to npcs? I know they kinda nerved bird blood and buggart skins. Is anything left that isn't an absolute pain in the behind ( a little pain is ok)

"Easy" gil with NPC selling
So

Augmented weapons NPC for 7k a piece and are purchased with 2.5 Dominion notes. These two sources of gil are enough for the average Abyssea-centric player. Lakshmi.Bravefencer

and whats so bad with my avatar, I think its cute .. and she still IS wearing something :3 Pandemonium.Spicyryan said: You can sell crystals that drop from mobs in your adventures for money at the auction house. EDIT: In fact SE was so kind as to give people guides on how to make gil. Chapter 2 part 6 of the new player guide! Check it out, you may find something of use in the video. lol if you have a higher leveled job, go to a dominion party, get a lot of dominion notes, buy dominion weapons, sell to NPC for 6-8k a weapon.

And crystals are somehwat decent gil due to the lack of traditional experience parties now. Crystal prices have gone up some. Especially Wind Crystals due to the fact everyone wants the shihei. Think Wind Crystals have been up to 5-6k lately Edit: Per Stack dark rings konschtat abyssea.
take a nin friend or thf or even dnc friend with you. use all the 120 minutes you got for amber and pearl kills. should be possible to do at last 400k for you two. Well, now that the price fallen on my server none of you can disrupt my gains, go buy fire V scrolls from the NPC for 162k and sell on AH for 200k+. I've made 2 million in the last fortnight for making a couple of trips to the past.
Forget the pocket money trick likes dominion weapons, do some research and take advantage of idiots for real gil. (Old method but the rewards are higher now a days)
Go do Besieged whenever you can and earn up 10k Imperial Standing points. Usually takes 5 rounds. Trade the points for 10 Gold Pieces from Ugrihd in Whitegate. Go to Nashmau and find Awaheen. Trade the gold pieces for mythril, then trade those for silver. (Best to make a trade macro) A stack of silver pieces go for around 200k or more now a days. That or you can sit your *** down by the warp taru and bazaar them. It's not the best way to earn gil, but its easy enough. Leviathan.Willson said: Anyone else make this in their head when they saw that post? lol'd My virgin eyes... : : I blew through about 250k Dominion points on my mule/main getting augmented weapons for proccing and made about 800k on the way. ~670k from NPCing the weapons, ~130k from selling the replaced proc options.
I don't particularly need the gil (no major goals, I keep enough gil for food), but it was a nice bonus for upgrading my proc weapons. Boring as ***, but if you like to get gil that way you can make a few 100k a day spam-killing them. Anyways, I suppose I could add some helpful info.
If you enjoy crafting, level up a craft that deals in consumables (Food, Tools, Arrows, Bullets etc.). These kinds of things never get trumped by new gear, and people will always need more of them, so they are almost always profitable. If you have defeated shinryu and can purchase brews for 200k cruor, find a group that needs to brew an NM. Sometimes groups or individuals are willing to pay 1-2mil for you to brew an NM. (This one is a bit harder to come by, due to most things being easily killable without a brew). Find (or make?) a decent low-man Dynamis group. A group of 6-10 well-experienced players can easily clear city zones while making 4-10mil in currency (depending on number of 100 pieces). You can easily make 1mil+ per week per member this way with fair splits. |
