You forgot to add in the countless days it will take to bring your gimp *** 30 level skill up to 90.
Overexaggerating.
I got my MNK's H2H skill from level 100 to the level 90 cap, Destroyers unlocked (at the time), Asuran Fists and Ascetic's Fury in a weekend.
Yes, my Guard skill is complete shite, but who gives a toss about a skill that is useless even when it's capped?
The only jobs that have it *** skilling up from a burn are PUP and SMN.
im taking pup seriouslt and TRYING To keep up with all the skills, but damnit, even with that, im like 50 levels behind on everything, due to how fast i level..thank god for updates
Eh, I've not been able to get on for the past 3 weeks, but I doubt you're getting 1-90 in 2 days with a 6-man PT going through the "traditional" camps purely because they upped the EXP a bit.
SE stated they practically doubled exp for EM+ mobs. Also remember that FoV exp bonus can now be repeated. I may have been over exaggerating a bit, but the point is. exp comes so fast outside of abyssea now, I don't see the point in people keywhoring anymore.
Thought we don't know the full increase until we can actually get on.

I still think key-whoring will be faster than outside Abyssea exp. Even so, now outside Abyssea exp will be worth doing past 30.
I'm not saying it causes retardation, I'm just saying it isn't fun. Achieving all of that in such a short time frame, what used to entail many great adventures and great times to be had, the satisfaction of the work it entailed.
I recently abyssea burned my WHM and RDM from 49 to 90, it took about 9 hours for each of them. I didn't feel accomplished, I didn't feel like I had done anything at all. There was no adventure, I wasn't banded with 5 others to fend of fiends for a few hours to achieve a few levels, instead I mindlessly used cure macros and chest key macros for hours, often afking from boredom and because I really wasn't needed, not even 75+.
Say what you want, grind is grind, but I enjoyed EXPing traditionally over this. Abyssea was fun the fist few times, and I would have looked at it in a more positive light if it had a steeper level for EXP. Look around, EXP parties are dead everywhere, in most cases you're soloing a job to 30 then leeching in abyssea these days. There's no fun in that, at least for me.
SE watched this video and got the hint:
This Guy seems like a cheap rip off of Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw, the Game critic from The Escapist, Search for Zero Punctuation in Google if you want more, but here's a piece he made on World of Warcraft : Cataclysm
And couldn't leave this one out: Call of Duty Black Ops
Maint is done so I jumped on my mule to check out EXP increase. 90 EXP on an EP Wild rabbit (At lv7) right outside of Sandy (One shotting them), and tons of skillups.
I can see a static getting from 1-90 inside 2~3 weeks at a couple hours a day if EXP PT numbers can get 400-500+/kill. Would definitely give people a reason to play outside Abyssea aside from the fun factor.
(I know my last few posts have made me seem like I'm all 'Abyssea ONRY', but my favourite EXP spots in the game are Garlaige and CN XD)
Anyone else have a character display problem?
I randomly turned into a face4a hume wearing leather armor, half a h2h and a bronze scythe.
Having the exact same problem. ***scares the crap out of me. One minute I'm the normal character model, the next I'm a blond hume dual wielding clubs wearing what can only be described as a bronze thong and a steel breastplate.

You mean that same point he even mentioned on that video you posted?
