Don't ever be quick to judge people. That's all I want to say, to anyone.
Vulnerability can come from many sources and emotional defenses can take sometimes weird and illogical paths. But they're still ways to defend the self.

She started hitting her husband back a few times, but that made him super beat the dog ***out of her so she let off it.
idc if it's a woman hitting a guy or a guy hitting a woman, you don't *** do it. Ovr and I beat up on each other all the time, but it's horseplay and we know it. There are no bruises, there is no anger, it's laughing and wrestling around. Though he wrestled in high school so usually it's just me in a chicken wing, begging him to stop tickling me so I don't pee. Siren.Kalilla said: » Some people are just fking crazy. So bad, Uri lol

She's family, my sister, so I do feel like it's my problem too, but worrying about her when she isn't going to change is just gonna give me an ulcer and make my baby a spaz... more of a spaz... Thanks for the help guys, you really did make me feel better. First and foremost though Spoons, DO NOT STRESS YOURSELF OUT TOO MUCH WHILE PREGNANT. Stress is horrible for the body. They like to be the perpetual victim rather than nut up? Like I said, some people are just masochists, or they love the attention they get from being in constant danger and the comfort they receive from their peers. Yes, that is a psychological problem. I agree with that, but the anecdote I posted earlier is my only experience with domestic abuse. We came to the conclusion that she wanted people to rally around her. She had a nice BF later, then went back to the beater. Then, after we graduated moved on to the next one who beat her, and relished in having a shoulder to cry on. If we all met up at a bar or restaurant guess what subject monopolized the conversation? The phone calls to everyone and their mother too. Sad, but she was cut from the herd. Carbuncle.Skulloneix

It's not even just after either lol once they get big enough, they rest on your pee bag. On a positive note, 5 months today, bros. And we still have nothing in the nursery except the guest bed and 32 ate up soda bottles the dog likes to chew on. @Bluespoons
Don't know about america but I guess it is the same as here. There are several organisations specialised in these matters who provide free help. They might give you good advices. Also there might be a local one at your sisters area who could build up a contact to her. Contact with other persons normally helps out the most. Other side a big guy with a LotR shirt that says "I did this everyday of my life". Judge explains rules and signals start. He gets into the perfect battle position. She charges at him screaming and starts to beat him brutally and repeatedly until he huddles up on the ground with arms on his head. And she continued even after the judge said they were done, they had to take her away forcefully. Asura.Bluespoons

We've looked into everything from having her committed to calling the cops. She's an adult that can make her own choices, so psych ignores us. Cops won't do ***because we don't witness the abuse and she won't do anything about it. She says he doesn't hit her and won't press charges, so nothing gets done.

She could go straight to the local battered women's shelter and/or get a restraining order, but...Yeah...That's purely up to the individual. *adblocks sagi's avi*
So you're telling me that I just quoted a movie that I've never seen? Freaky...
