I don't think games can really get me scared much any more. I get tense when stuff gets difficult, but that's mainly the feeling of, "Urgh, I just spent 30 minutes getting here. IT'LL ALL BE WASTED!" Though the remake of Resident Evil on Ye Olde Gamecube was pretty scary at the time. That's the last time a game really scared me, though I haven't played Deadspace.

I'm so excited for co-op in dead space 3!

I need to stop looking up previews of the game or else I'm probably going to spoil the ending for myself on 2 :x

I'm looking for a scare in games because 99% of scary movies don't scary me anymore, yet a game can for me and I love being scared. The thrill of knowing you're low on ammo and health and that if you take 1 more hit you're dead, then you hear this loud scream and turn and you have 2 leapers leaping at you and they rip you apart! I love getting scared so much :x

also decided to pick up a new monitor cause I *** hated HATED HATED HATED my old crappy 19in monitor I had to use cause my nice big one broke :| found a 23in widescreen full HD monitor for kinda cheap and ... /drool I feel like i've been living in the dark ages and finally just crawled out from under a rock x.x


Granted I was not able to hook it up with and HDMI cord just yet (I cannot for the life of me find the little HDMI to mini HDMI converter I had /sigh... saw it last *** week too)

"Scary" movies have never really scared me. :x THey generally rely on stupid characters, rather than true horror, which is very grippin for me. I'm looking at you, Silence of The Lambs. Thrillers are also generally more thrilling(looking at you, Alien).

I'll play next to my boyfriend sometimes and when I do it's not really that scary, I get more scarred when I play alone. Like, I'll be nudging forward shining my flashlight on the walls to make sure nothing is hiding and I'll take forever doing that.

I'm going to play 3 with him though and we'll probably destroy everything, not that it won't scare me but it will be so much fun playing a game like this in co-op I think.

Plus, being able to pick up scraps along the way and build your own custom weapons sounds so awesome!

Me, I'm a simple guy. I like to slay the dragon and rescue the Princess, and hopefully she is secretly a dragon... >_>; I don't have an obsession with monster slaying. Not at all. No. Not me. <_>; Anyway, I also enjoy challenging monsters. Like Sif was, since I was over 50% weight limit thingie. First Titanite Demon was pretty cash. Figuriing out how to beat the giant mushroom men without being pummeled by their run-away ice cream van fists while still killing them was also fun. Something about monster slaying... so appealing to me. Which is one reason I really love Black Knight weapons <_<; The first one I got, the Ultra Greatsword, said, "blahblahblahit'sbigblahblahblahusedtokillChaosdemons..." THIS ONE! THIS WEAPON RIGHT HERE! I'MA USE IT!

This is one of the reasons I'm never satisfied with my results in Chess against Kalilla. I haven't yet felt like I made progress towards slaying the Demon Wrought of Ivory~(hence my obsession, Kali Demon)! HAVE AT THEE!

DVI close to the same quality as HDMI. VGA is the lower quality. So you're running the game on DVI and have ports for HDMI?

also I dunno if this matters, but it is a VGA cord, but I have this DVI converter thing (the silly monitor didn't even come with DVI cords, how silly is that?)

I'm sure i'll find the converter cable tomorrow, I ordered a cheap-o HDMI to mini HDMI to just stick in permanently when it gets here.

. -. I'm getting closer to the first BAM you come across ugh I hate lfg I couldn't find one for like 3 hours till some sixty came and helped me.

o: Oh man sweet. I'll let you know once I get to it. I have some other quests in the way at the moment but my Sorc is quickly getting there where my Archer is.
