Agree to disagree then. You're certainly entitled to your opinion. I know 1.0 had plenty of content and storyline to justify the song's lyrics and power, but for being essentially the "main theme" behind the game and storyline, it was not readily noticeable how it ties in or becomes relevant til you advance further in the game. While with the End of an Era video, it was immediately justified and presented to enable the storyline from the get go. I'd rather wear this.. you guys can have your girly outfits :I

Anal Rodeo is hard, if you want help or whatever I can help ya tomorrow. :3 Oh and do not go into the painting in the church unless you're really ready. You cannot leave once you enter it. We'll see. I'm going to be up a while playing it tonight until I get pissed or something. Those big statue guys are pretty easy once you get their moveset down. I don't have one of those devices that lets you record console gameplay (forget what they are called). :( My favorite was the one area where a boulder comes down the side of the fortress and there is a door you need to run through. Well, the snake mage at the top came down and was blocking the door, so narshee started wacking it and then BAM! no more narshee. (I was looking through the doorway so he's there one second and the next he isn't.) Then my dumbass had to get too involved with trying to get the npc to fight the boss and sidestepped off the arena where you fight him. On the second go, I just stood back and threw dung piles for the majority of the fight. You're more of a Grell Narshe

I'm pretty sure I never heard answers being played in the game at all until the end of an era trailer. So really it IS a 2.0 song and not 1.23 at all. I can't think of literally a single instance in which I heard that song while playing. Hardly grounds to call it the main theme then. Hydra slaying time! After I get frustrated enough with the Hellkite Drake again.
The boulders -.-; one minute they wern't coming down and the second I exit the room one hits me. Then I tried to run up to the bolder machine thing and one smashes me. I'm not sure why I suck when playing with other people :/ I didnt die once in Sen's on that character solo.

I'm not sure when it appears or if it ever appeared in game aside from the vague phrases when you see that weird illusion at the beginning of your character creation. However, the song was within the game files since the alpha. As to how or when it ties in is uncertain until we saw the clear picture with the End of an Era video. Which is what I've been trying to say this whole time. It's not really noticeable how it ties in the game until the ARR video was shown, but the song has always been there. You know the one with glasses who is clumsy and drops everything; huge scatter brain. But then I can be all like "Hehe" makes up for dropping the cake you spent 4 hours making. xD Artemicion said: » Odin.Eikechi said: » Artemicion said: » Odin.Eikechi said: » Artemicion said: » General synopsis of 1.0 was not as readily conducive to the main title of answers as say the given plight and video as demonstrated for ARR 2.0. Just because something is in .dat files, or something like that, really doesn't make it a "main theme" at all. Again, I literally don't remember hearing it whatsoever in the actual game. It was used in the ARR video, and for what it was worth, that video was amazing. But that song was hardly as important as you seem to be making it out to be for 1.23's story (hence your grip about the integration of said song was lacking, when really there wasn't any at all). Oh okay, then they performed it at the Distant Worlds shows worldwide just for shits and giggles then.
So srs over a song >.> lol
Artemicion said: » Oh okay, then they performed it at the Distant Worlds shows worldwide just for shits and giggles then. That sounds more correct, because it is their song after all. I wanna be Sebastian... but idk if I want Narshe trying to drag me away all the time. >.>
