The typical presets per viewing preference and scenario not cutting it for you? I remember spending hours contrasting and comparing color saturations, tints, brightness, contrast, sharpness and fade to get what was most pleasing to the eye.

nah this monitor's preset modes are the worst i've ever seen in my life. tbh I think the main problem is it has a horrible time displaying dark grays and blacks, which is causing everything to be brighter than im used to

That's a big bummer, because frankly I don't have the time or patience to research ideal conditions per viewing scenario to rely on my gut or rather eye instinct with the finer details of settings. I typically will end up admitting defeat and using presets.
Hopefully next monitor I get will be able to display darker shades without washing them out, which seems to be a typical problem among modern screens.
Hmm.. remaking other people's music is getting kinda bland. Perhaps I should start creating original stuff. Like... your own very personal theme songs. :O

yeah, luckily i've managed to get it pretty sharp and vibrant with about every color except black, so I'll deal. they look better than my old LCDs, and I had mismatched sizes previously which was super ghetto

MWAHAHAHAHA! Can run GW2 on absolute max now with 160+ fps. Before I had to turn shadows and LOD distance from ultra to high and couldn't supersample (had to do native).
LOVE IT!
