I can't even find where to sign up for beta. This is odd.

The alpha was just to test the basic systems and make sure you don't get launched into the sky when a ladybug pokes you or something. The level cap is simply too low combined with the 3 class limit and lack of major content make it impossible to make any real judgments on the gameplay in the end.

Yeah Ina, but the fundamentals are there. The battle system CAN'T stay the way it is for launch. It's awful.
I still stand by that there isn't enough to say it sucks or is good... it's like playing the first chapter of FF13 when you only have 2 actions and before you even unlock roles and saying the combat always sucks. Yes I'm fully aware that many people here have a rather passionate hatred of FF13 but I'm too lazy to come up with an example on a game that people worship.
I have no idea what goes on in the one dungion they said is there in the letter from the producer a ways back but since they limit you to lnc arc and cnj I doubt it's anything too dynamic unless lancer suddonly became a tank class.

I think your entire analogy is kind of flawed though. Seeing is how I played 1.23 for a long time, going into this new battle system isn't just a minor adjustment to get used to. It's *** crap. There is a big difference between bailing on 13 early and really shitting the bed with this fighting system they created. It's literally like the polar opposite of what v 1.23 is and it's trash.
edit: and lnc isn't a tank no, but it's a tank in the same way any DD can "tank" in XI or XIV. Just does enough dmg.

Something is terribly wrong inside the mind of the Subligar King. I was woken by my radio alarm that comes on for an hour in the morning as usual as it ALWAYS wakes me, these last two days though I've only reached a weird half conscious level where I can hear the radio but it incorporates into some kind of dream and I'm not awake enough to move or get up, then I fall back asleep and wake up an hour or two later :(
My poor king. I think we shall go on a quest to find you a queen again.

Seems like last night may have been a bad round of sleep for a few people. :(
I had the most AWESOME dream though, I had superpowers and the ability to control incredibly powerful magic. It was set in the old nature park near my old school, a witch was casting a freezing storm over the whole place and everybody was suffering as a result, I could fly though, and I flew up above the storm above the clouds into brilliant warm sunshine, I can't describe how beautiful a feeling it was to just be hovering above the clouds basking in the beautiful rays of pure sunshine. Anyway, I eventually flew back down and absorbed the electrical magic of some tree and evaporated the storm, restoring sunshine to the park!

I don't remember most of my dream except that I was in Downtown Toronto for most of it... It was one of those dreams where multiple games cross over into reality. If any of you were there I don't remember it.
