How did lifeguard stuff go?

Was SO boring for like the first few hours doing nothing but theory and being spoken to like we were 5 years old. Was so awqward at first, the other 4 people there were so shy and quiet I had to answer all the questions so we could move on. The instructor started by asking us what came to mind when we pictured a lifeguard, and I said Baywatch lmao just to try and break the ice... a tumbleweed flew past the window.

Yeh :D we done poolside rescue drills later on, there are 2 girls there and they are actually pretty tidy and really cool once I got them talking a bit. My gosh though, the fitness aspect is harder than I thought, we have to be able to do specific rescue drills in certain time frames by the time the exam comes round on Saturday, on my first attempt I managed to swim out and rescue a casualty in 59s, the limit on Saturday will be 60s o.o an I consider myself very fit, just not that great at swimming, I sink like an anchor >_>;

Oh and we were supposed to bring t shirts, I left mine in the locker room by 'accident' <_< >_>
