Will there be the slaying of frost giants on these escapades?
Ha! No such thing! But watch out for the sea monsters. They are very real.

And if you survive your adventures with the ancient mariner you must then accompany a pilgrimage to Canterbury!

Did you read the books Seha? If you did and liked them you should check out the Malazan Book of the Fallen series... I don't want to say they are the same but they are in the, If you like one you would probably like the other, group.

GDI Seha. I'd gone months with out bringing up How To Train Your Dragon. Now I have to watch it. Also the thought of rule 34 on that is just wrong.

I always wondered why so many sea monsters were recorded as being this shape, now I'm no major in hydrodynamics, but how on earth would anything stay upright or even be able to move shaped like this?

Should probably say the first book is called Gardens of the Moon and is by Steven Erikson... I found the first one to be kinda slow but from the second one onwords it picks up alot, lots of crazy/interesting characters although alot less sex then Ice and Fire.

The Loch Ness monster is real.
It's Sagi in a speedo.

Because showing a choppy ocean and saying "underneath there somewhere is a sea monster" doesn't make for as good of a picture.

Jörmungandr is the only true monster of the sea.

This silly Loch Ness is just a poser.

Sea snakes use a sideways motion for projection, sea monsters are always depicted as an up and down.

Then again...

My personal opinion is that it was an ancient childrens story to deter children from playing near lakes or bodies or water, somewhere along the line it grew it's own identity in the community and spread from there. It would have been very easy for passing travelers who hear of this 'monster' from a child and to repeat the tale in their home land and before you know it there is a mythical creature in the lake.

Oh yeh btw, if anyone took my pie rant seriously make sure to poke holes in the bottom of the shell or could blow up like a ballon in the oven, especially if you need to par bake the shell. Just stab it a few times with a fork in a few different spots.

I already debunked the Loch Ness myth!
It's just Sagi in a speedo scaring people off, not a monster.

I prefer poking a pattern in the top of the shell rather than just poking holes in the bottom. :I
