I like alot of accents,some are more appealing than others though. Southern US accents can be either super sexy or super turn off. Then agagin standard US accebts are nice anyways. Alot of european ones are nice too.

I live in sweden for the last couple years and have been really lazy about learning swedish and learned enough to get by.
I love to troll my boyfriend and mimic the accent of the snobby swedish girls around here from the Ostermalm area of Stockholm ... he hates when i do that lol... its really nasal sounding and stuck up.

Wishing it would snow soon.

Supposedly I have a mild southern accent. I don't hear it, but anyone from up north or another country always says I do.

I think it really boils down to me having a flat accent, but I say things like "ain't" and "fixin' to." Also I say "Howdy," like all the *** time I say it... it is just how I greet people.

I've never understood the love for southern accents, but the number of full-on hicks within a few miles of my house might have something to do with that. Thankfully mine is mild enough to generally go unnoticed.

Surprisingly, most "southern" accents are eastern. Except for the word "y'all," I don't think I've met anyone that has a stereotypical southern accent.

Be thankful. I've met many. I have no accent, but if I hang around them I start to use one and I hate it. PROPER PRONUNCIATION *slams head into wall*
