Cant tell you how many times my professors have been late over the years lol I think after 40 mins then i get worried :P
I think there's a rule that if the professor is 20 minute late, you get to leave. But maybe that was just my uni and not everywhere. ;; /comfort

I think the most any of mine have been late is like 5 minutes lol.
Gives you enough time to sabotage the door, and place a trap for you unsuspecting professor to be quite embarrassed from whatever scheme your mind creates into fruition D:<
It depends but for my classes the professor is never absent... you cant miss days for upper division stuff lol
My school does it based on their degree levels, if they have a PhD 15 minutes, everyone under that gets 5.

Only ever had 1 teacher late to their class though, and it was because he missed his bus or something. :x
My friends teacher never showed up last week, he was pretty pissed until he found out that he had a major heart attack :x

i think for 3 unit classes its like 5 mins, 4 units like 20 mins, 5 units you do not leave lolol

Well like... my school prep classes are ... 4 credit hours? (I think?) and depending on the class it can range from 1 to 3 credit hours.
(I honestly don't understand how it's classed but meh... all I know is the higher the credit hours, the more expensive it is ;;)
they charge per unit at my school so yeah they are more expensive, also means you have to spend more time outside of class doing home work and studying lol the classes here range from half a unit to 5 units lol 5 unit courses are killer :I and i am taking 2 of those right now lol
not sure how many credit hours mine are each but it's two classes that require me to be out in the field ALOT, or in the studio :| each project usually has me sifting through at least 1500 pictures each :| (well not the studio ones, those are maybe at most ... 300/400 if I get creative/bossy) it's tough lol ... especially since all the pictures have to be edited, uploaded online, and printed.

I don't take classes with *** teachers, well I've taken 2, one I got a C in and the other I dropped because he was a mega ***.
Classes where the teachers aren't ***: love'm, I'm sad because the one teacher I've had all his classes and my grades were good enough to where I can't justify retaking any of them but the one class, and I'd have to learn how to program before doing so.

not much choice at my college~ the CS dept. here is really small and 80% of the students that sign up for CS end up changing majors or dropping out.
and i probably mentioned this somewhere recently but the department still hasn't found a teacher to teach system databases for the spring semester which is a required course for our major. So a good percentage of the students that need it can't graduate unless they find someone soon. cuz class registration starts at the end of this month
I always just stay if the teacher is missing, just in case lol. I had a teacher that was a total nocallnoshow but came in the next day mad at us and wanting to give us a pop quiz. She said was only 10 minutes late and we were gone but I said I was there the entire time <_< so she was like, "Well I must've went to the wrong classroom but I was there!!"
this one time the TA forgot it was daylight savings time so he was an hour behind.
The class waited 20 minutes for him. So i went up to his office and was like
"heydumbass you do realize its daylight savings time and you're missing a class that you should be teaching"

he was like "oh ***" then said meh just tell them class is canceled.

So I didn't get any sleep last night, came home from a bad day and took a nap. Asked my wife to wake me up when dinner was ready because she was cooking.
Just got up and dinner has been done for 2 hours. She knows I have to finish my homework, I told her I absolutely need to have it done by tomorrow... and she is watching a movie on my computer so it can be on the TV and when I asked her to turn it off, I'm the *** bad guy because I'm a little bit pissy... and she is still watching the *** movie and I can't get on my computer right now.
