From what I've heard FFXIV isn't going to see the light of day on PS3. So, I'll probably never play it. Sucks, but meh. Plenty of other games on the table. Right now I'm super excited about Bioshock Infinite. And of course... Minecraaaaaaft...
It is comming to PS3, its something they have actually been stressing so idk whos telling you its not. I think they are putting out solid info this month for it and showing off the interface.

Edit: if not this month then next month, can't remember which they said.
Okay, so reading up on an article written on September 15, I guess it's slated for a Mid-October release. So there may be hope, afteer all. I don't exactly remember where I heard that from, but I thought I looked it up before with a statement saying just that. Need to do my homework a little better. Still, I'll have to wait until I can get the funds. When I do though, I may snoop around to see which server you guys are on.
Theres a ton of info for it Here in the form of an interview, theres a video version of the interview that shows game play as well but it's long.

I'm dissapointed that the path companions are being taken out of the main story... Mine made me promises she won't keep now : (

They only show up in the story missions, not like XIs where you can summon them to fight with you. They are looking into a system like that with them down the line though, we will already be able to train our chocobos fight with us.

I wish they had put Viera into the game.. and maybe the XII moogle as an alternate to lalafell. I guess they'd need other races to balance out Hume, Elvaan and Galka tho :/ (I know that's not their race name but still >.>)

Yeh, she always managed to catch me off guard... I liked when Ifrit demanded she kneel and she said she only gets on her knees for people she wants to.

Edit: that and I'm not used to this in FFs, theres also a npc that tells you to make her loins "burst with rapture"
