Why can't i find a damn definition for "ghost butting"? I feel like Kawar now.
I'm sure it has something to do with the recent Ghost Sickness post of Narshe's and this picture.

I'm pretty excited for the first of the three debates tonight; but at the same time part of my brain is reminding me that in all probability and likeliness, both candidates are going to cling heavily to their rhetoric rather than actually explain details behind their plans and policies, and explain why their plans are good/practical along with why their opponent's plans are bad/dubious.

All in a day's work, pretty much.

Still on pins and needles praying that one or both will address the big picture rather than pandering to the people who are concerned with small issues.

Not interested in anymore mud-slinging.

Pretty sure Romney is going to be bringing his A-Game with him based on poll trends alone; and the worst thing Obama can do is take that for granted and presume that this is a slam dunk for him, because it's really not. But it's unfortunate that the debates come down to how well "composed" each person is rather than definitively explaining what they'll do when in office, and the practicality behind those decisions.

Makes no difference what Politicians say in their speeches, its all *** anyway. Once they get in office they forget they ever said any of it.

Sure, they can arbitrarily decide what they do and don't do regardless of their campaign promises and whatnot, but we live in an age where you can't say anything to the public without it being recorded, documented, going viral and used against you if you dun goofed.

I'm confident to say that with each passing day and as technology advances, the scales tilt more and more towards the people at large rather than the representatives that commonly fail to represent.

Yea, and every Prime Minister since Thatcher has promised to fix the UK's immigration problems, yet its worse now than its ever been, because none of them have ever done anything about it.

It's the number 1 thing on their list of things to do in speeches and its the first thing they forget about.

Since everyone feels this way about politics, I'll change the subject to what I should have for lunch, and what awesome cheap used games should I hunt for at Gamestop with my friend today?

I didn't know of the horse at all. Needless to say it was awkward to read.

Your avatar (for some reason, I know they're unrelated) reminds me of the Soul Reaver games for the PSX. You should totally buy one, they were awesome!

Not a bad idea. Though my priority will probably be any decent Gamecube games since they're out of print and rather difficult to find. I remember hunting for Wind Waker online and couldn't find a single (used) copy for any less than $130.

Sounds like Secret of Mana, I was curious to see how much my SNES version was worth and last I looked it was going for $200 or so, lol.

Not sure if my PC is up to par to emulate gamecube games yet.
From what I remember it's very intensive on the GPU despite being based on dated hardware. I suppose "tricking" your computer into thinking it's another device can be taxing.

I found that out when I pretended my PC was a macbook, but it was more taxing on me than it was my PC.

Yar. There's lots to look for. Though lately I've been building up to complete my entire FF collection. All I'm missing is Origins, Tactics and XIII-2. Not sure if tactics is really canon as far as staple titles within the series go.
But based on that logic I'm missing Legends, Crystal Chronicles and Crisis Core too.
