I miss Resident Evil tyrant variants. *** gave me nightmares for weeks when I was a kid. Amused the hell out of my dad and uncle. I think that's why they always played survival horror games. >_>

I've been watching other people play it. Looks pretty good. I like the fact they added melee combat (the shitty combat knife or button prompts don't count), it only took them 10 games after the first one. >_>

Has the same feel RE2's beginning and RE3 had for the Leon/Helena campaign so far. Has RE 4/5's action emphasis though. Not necessarily a bad thing.

I wasn't a big fan of 4/5...Both were way too easy and lacked any kind of horror/suspense :/

I'll agree with 5, but 4 still had a pretty creepy atmosphere. And certain parts were quite scary.

4 is my favorite RE.
While it wasn't as well conducted as some of the older ones, it had a great element of atmosphere which felt a bit absent or rather not as heavily emphasized in other titles.

so yeah call it what you may... but I decided to put the release preview on windows 8 on my netbook last night, made the boot flash drive (no DVD drive hehe) since I couldn't figure out how the *** to get into my bios (I see no prompt during POST to get into it so I dunno lol) so I started the install from inside win7... long story short... spent an hour and a half to install it only for in the last minute it tell me it can't install it and give me NO reason why just "LOLNOPE SORRY BRO /trollface"


Anyone care to give this one a go?

Ehhhh I just wanted to give it a try... and since it's a netbook I could care less what OS is on it as long as it can run photoshop (what it's mainly being used for)

Trying to get it for my custom character in G Generation Overworld, too, but not sure how to get a Hyaku Shiki to start the evolution line. :<
