edit: But yeah, I know where I can improve. Heck I just dumped 5M on 14/14 STR/DEX felt trousers. Those will serve as a sick base until I can get ungodly lucky with a trip meld like some people out there lol. In the end it'll only cost me 1M, because I can sell my other 2 pants I had. Win/win for me lol

Triple STR hands will probably be the last triple I invest into especially since we already know they are gimping how much benefit melds will give us in 2.0 :/
Even tho melds are getting gimped I really cant see doubles being gimped though, but I can definitely see triples suddenly becoming not so effective.
I think I remember them explaining it like they are increasing our base stats making it alot easier to hit the caps, thus making melds not so effective or something.
But at the same time that would allow us to stack other stats like attack.

I actually havent used my sword much yet or tried to do any testing with it, I could uh test it out right now tho I guess.
Oddly I enjoy WHM more than PLD <.<
Would be kinda hard to determine tho since its going to have higher WS dmg in the first place just from the higher DPS.
I'll go screw around with it and compare spirits with my Lominsan sword rq tho o.o

Screwed around on 3 diff mobs, these were the averages I got after doing a few spirits on each mob with both swords. Would Spirits Deagro run back and do it a few times with both swords. I'm no math person so idk what the exact % boost would be, probably need a better sample size too but yea /lazy.
Target: 58 Sphene Doblin
Curtana: 856 Spirits to a
Storm Lt: 749
Target: 57 Lammergeyer (Bird Thing)
Curtana: 726
Storm Lt: 663
Target: 57 Peiste
Curtana: 784
Storm Lt: 690
Seems to be a 90-100 dmg boost on mobs in that level range.
I could always do a hard mode Ifrit for lulz too or skirmish and parse my averages with both swords might do that this weekend.
