Delicious. Sooooo.... This group project thing, one of my partners turned in a bunch of stuff for me to include as his part. When I looked into it I found that he straight copy pasted it all from wikipedia.
My dad suggested I print out the wiki page and the stuff he gave me and just take it right to the professor. Whether I do that or not I will need to rewrite his entire section myself because I can't turn in something obviously plagiarized. Stuff is due next Monday and I am not confident at all that if I take it to the guy and ask him to redo it that anything will get done. wat do? Bismarck.Dreadnot

Copying straight from wiki is not only Lazy, but the worst thing you can do in a college setting. Rat the *** out for not caring about the rest of the group and potentially failing the group. I f you haven't checked and your professor did, you'd all be *** for the grade. print wiki twice, give a copy to your partner, one for teacher.
XI update looks lack luster despite having 2-4 pieces of gear worth getting... Meh no LS means I can't do ***anyways. I might just deactivate soon.

Make a big *** cover page for his portion giving credit to him for his part of it and print it out as he turned it into you and immediately after his portion print out the wiki page itself straight from wiki. Then turn it all in and tell your professor to take note of his contribution specifically.
I'm surprised so many of you are telling him to snitch, talk to him about it Lillica and if he fails to make amends THEN it's time to go to the professor.
Do not do his work for him under any circumstances. Do not do his work for him under any circumstances. Yeah the thing about this though is that there is not really enough time for this. I barely trusted the guy to get this much done, he turned it into me literally 5 minutes before the deadline I had set. I really don't trust him to do a good job in time for us to turn it in. Do not do his work for him under any circumstances. Yeah but clearly this guy didn't give a single *** in the first place. College is vastly different from the HS setting because you have to pay (and a lot, given some schools) just to get this education. I'd definitely talk to the professor to see what you can do about it. Clearly 1 student not giving a ***shouldn't penalize an entire group, but if this isn't brought to light you can actually all end up paying for his shitty work. The sheer audacity of this person plagiarizing from Wikipedia of all places would cause me ignore any courtesy and go right to the professor. Of all places to copy from, they chose the one that's probably the most accessible and recognizable? Yeah, he pretty much doesn't give any shits.
But I'm a *** so meh... Bismarck.Dreadnot

Do not do his work for him under any circumstances. You are told at the beginning of the year do NOT directly copy wiki. You can use it to find resources, but if you copy it, it's up to the professors mercy. They do not take kindly to that. It's flat out insulting to the people you are working with to do that, and disrespectful to your professor. I would take his section of the paper to the professor, show him the copies, and ask his opinion on what to do. If this guy can't be decent enough to give you SOME effort in group worth, he's not worth having in the group. Indeed, it is your education at stake so take whatever precautions you deem necessary to safeguard your position. Personally, I'd recommend you giving him a right good talking to first for putting the entire groups future at stake but meh >.>
