I'll dye my hair silver and be all like:
I've never once dyed my hair. That might change though when I start getting gray. Unless it does the salt and pepper thing, in which case I'm cool wit' it.
Silver shall likely be my next color after red... I do miss having white hair but I've been much too lazy to bleach my hair enough to get the color again since the first time. XP

By the way Spath, I saw the pic you were talking about. You actually kinda look like my brother at that time. Very straight long hair, just like his was. But he paired his off with a fu manchu stache and goatee combo. 'Twas... interesting. But the hair was awesome. See dude? You could totally pull off the Metalhead look, broski.
