Okay! Next question...
When a life ends it must be 'sent' to the farplane to leave Spira and be at peace or they become an 'unsent'. If I remember correctly there are several instances where we are told that if a sending is not performed the unsent then turn into fiends right? I understand this is the reasoning behind the fiends encountered in the game :o

Unsent (死人/死者, Shito/Shisha?) is a state of being in Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2, as well as the common name for those in that state. When a person dies, the spirit of the person goes to the Farplane, either by willingly departing on its own having accepted death, or with the help of a summoner performing a ritual called the sending. If a person's spirit does not enter the Farplane on its own, and is not sent, it will simply remain as that, an "unsent", where the person's pyreflies reconstruct their body, usually in their old image. The unsent can still send their own souls no matter how long they lingered; at this instance, their bodies will simply disperse into pyreflies.
Unsent are typically overcome by malice and often begin to resent the living, eventually becoming fiends. Some unsent are able to exist on Spira retaining a corporeal state and a rational mind. Some unsent, are at times, able to adopt the shape of a fiend at will.
Different unsents' bodies take different forms. Some unsent spirits remain identical to how they were in life, but some go through changes, and may appear to age even when they are technically frozen in time. Shuyin is a different type of unsent, where his pyreflies do not form a physical body for him, instead, the pyreflies are only "imprinted" with his hatred and act on their own.

He is an unsent though, technically he should have no problem drowning. Depends, unsent do seem to dissipate for a time if I remember right, Seymour does after his 2nd and 3ed fights doesn't he? Been a while since I played. So it's possible that drowning for too long would do the same for Auron. He has some heavyer armour + his weapon that would wear him down so that might have been a consideration for SE as well. Also others in the group might think something was up if he was down there too long since he has no blitzball background so wouldn't have learned the technique.
Or the simplist answer might be that he doesn't know how to swim.

Sagi, its explained very well in X-2.
No use using a sequel to explain the workings of another game.
To be fair as long as you can get past the, for lack of a better term, girlyness at times, it is a fun game. Battle system is one of the best imo, tons of contet and you can't even get/see everything in a single playthrough so lots of replay value. Just Chapter 4 is a bit out there.

Fae, I'm struggling to understand something about FFX, how is it only Tidus, Wakka and Rikku can breathe underwater? I can understand Tidus being able to now, but what about the other two? I was under the impressions that everyone can breathe underwater in Spira. Those three are just the only ones in the party skilled/comfortable enough in water, given the Blitzball/Al Bhed Salvaging backgrounds, to actually fight in it.

I liked to go with Yuna as Dark knight, Rikku as alchemest and paine as gunner, Trigger happy > finish combo with Darkness was sexy.
Tamers were fun to use as well.

I had As my final party but they each had a few jobs mastered to play around with. That battle system is really good :x I liked the grids, gave you alot of freedom since there were ones to let you use abilities cross class or let you use them even if you hadn't learned them

I know there was that giant thing in the desert that always killed me x.x Oh god that one made me rage >.> Got him down to almost dead afer 2 1/2 hours (one battle, not multiple added together) and he killed me, got him the next try though atleast.

I wouldn't go that far... FFX is a compeate story and could have been left as it was. I agree X-2 wasn't just about the money though, they could have gotten away with far less content and just copy pasted the battle system if that were the case.
