I'll be finishing the Dark Elf Trilogy tonight, then I'll have to look on our bookshelves for the next part of the series, which I believe is the Icewind Dale Trilogy.
That'd be helpful, so I can go ahead and get them lined up. ^^
I stuck Sellswords and War of the Spider Queen in there because they arn't Drizzt but they are relevant to what is going on with some characters or they get refrenced... They are...
Also I put the short story collection after Ghost king because you would pick up some really big spoilers if you go ahead of yourself on those.

The first list I gave would probably be the best order to read them in yeh, the second list I gave is just the two spin offs, the events in Sellswords is more then a little important, especially the first one. Then War of the Spider Queen isn't overly important but its events are being refrenced quite a bit so you would end up confused by some stuff if you don't read it.
Ah, Legend of Dragoon. A great game, with one of my favorite combat systems ever.
Translation team wasn't so great though. Just about every bit of dialogue sounds really uncomfortable. Like, badly translated Manga uncomfortable.

I don't remember a lot of the dialogue :o but I was like... 12 when I played, and didn't really care about stuff like that yet :/ oo shiny.
To be fair once you move past the light hearted writing and, for lack of a better term, girlishness, the game play is pritty awesome. The battle system has alot to it in order to master it. For example having a gunner use trigger happy and then time a powerful attack from another character at the end for the added combo damage.

Personally I think the 100% ending makes X-2 worth it >.> Without it, not so much lol
