Random Thought:
Final Fantasy XI now, is like a Private Server.
In other MMO's people turn to private servers because of the grind and how hard the main servers are. Private servers would get higher exp/drops/money. Over the years, FFXI has become like that.
EXP is not a 'grind' AT ALLLLLL. It's stupid easy to level anything.
Drop rates have increased in some areas, making some armor easier to obtain; Salvage, Voidwatch, Pop rates of NM, etc.
Money is extremely easy to come by (Dynamis) mainly.

Over the years, Abyssea being the turning point, FFXI has gone to Private server mode.

But on FFXI private servers (olde) you could kill NPC force pop stuff, etc etc. But for the main part... We downgraded. But inb4 SE needs to make money blah blah keep people interested blah blah new people blah blah.
