Best explanation for it. I was outside transplanting my corn, so I could use the seed trays to start carrots. Got them all planted and everything grabbed the tray to come in, see a dime sized red stain on the back of my hand, wonder if it's blood, look closer it is, turn my hand over, and half of my hand is covered in red. All up under my nails and everything.

Yes it was blood lol.. Some was still wet, other, thinner parts had already started to dry and brown up.

And wife is sitting right here by me.. I think we can rule out murder, it was on my left hand and I'm right handed, very much so. My left hand is practically useless to me.

I guess maybe I could have killed something that was in the dirt when I was digging around to plant the corn? I didn't see anything though, and I was looking cuz I needed to inspect the state of the soil I was putting them in to see just how dry it was.

Well, I was leaning more towards your wife having done something maniacal with your hand as a practical joke. This is a curious case though :o

There are no berries or really any other types of plants =/ Just barely took up gardening a couple of months ago. All that was out back was grass, now there's a 36 square foot plot of dirt with 2 green bean plants and 6 corn plants in it.. Along with the grass.
