So I decided to make rotisserie (chicken) drumsticks for dinner.. Dunno why I decided to break out the rotisserie, just tired of the same old ***I guess?

Anyways.. It's barely had enough time to heat up the heating element and I can already smell it and omg.. I'm so damn hungry.. I'm reluctant to say what I seasoned the chicken with because of ~someone~ who will read this and go 'eww I'm not eating that'. <_<

So wife will still eat it, she seems really sensitive to wine being used in food. She doesn't drink or anything really so that could be why.

Ah, well if it's a particular sensitivity or allergen then it's understandable, but typically alcohol used in cooking has petty amounts of influence as far as ethanol goes. The right things just have to be used for the right dishes. For example, cooking bratwursts in beer can add a nice touch, while cooking pasta with white (or even red) wine can bring about incredible flavor.

It's not the ethanol.. I'm not really going to try and dispute what she says, because she's tasted it before when there's no way she could have known it was in it on a couple of dishes, and from a technical stand point, it should have been nothing more than a very subtle taste (pretty much impossible to discern to the normal person) but she still knew..

I don't over-use it or anything, after the first couple of times I even gave it extra time to cook off the alcohol, she can still tell.

Yeah I dunno how either, she should have a job as a taste tester or something <_<

I tried doing it myself, and it came out "okay". But not nearly as nice as someone who is more experienced with photoshop or even mspaint.
