As far as JP go though: I don't consider most of their lack of communication as being rude, they don't understand what we say most of the time, and auto translate doesn't work for ***, short of a few key phrases. Can't really blame them for being fed up with trying.

It wasn't a communication issue in this case. We were there brewing and they couldn't wait 30 bloody seconds.

Nah, not me. No one has ever tried to steal it.
The interior was set on fire last summer, along with some other cars within a few blocks of mine.
Having it picked through happens often enough that I just don't keep anything valuable in it. They didn't even bother taking the change or the power inverter that I keep in case my phone needs an emergency charge.
Yomi mentioned a week-ish ago that someone attempted to steal the cars at her house. Maybe that's what you're thinking of.

I stopped locking the doors back before I even had this particular car. I figured having to go out and close a door that was left hanging open is a lot less costly than spending ~$100 every time someone decided to break out a window, just to find that they have nothing to steal anyway.

Well it's sometimes hard to distinguish between the red and brown in the pre-select pallette but if I hover the cursor over them for a second it tells me in writing \o/
