With IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL that is usually hardware related, most likely going to be either your CPU overheating or bad RAM. One thing to check is the next time it does it, immediately reboot and go into the BIOS and check your CPU temperature, it will probably be hot.

Please do check your CPU temp the next time it does it and let me know. Your RAM could very well be going out.

It may vary slightly depending on your motherboard but once you are in your BIOS, there should be an option similar to "System Information" or "PC Health Status" or "System Health Sensor", etc. It should be obvious what the temperature is once you are there.

I have my original box for FFXI PC..its a 2003 with bonus Zilart expansion disk though. I took a picture but my phone refuses to send it to my email for some reason.

I (my sister) lost the CoP box :( its the only one Im missing.

Im thinking if I ever started the game up again though Im just going to rebuy the whole series...cause all these expansions would be a whole days worth of re installations. And I dont even know what to do anymore because PoL doesnt exist right?
Whenever I install fresh, I use my copy of the 2008 collection (same one that is hosted on my website). I have about 4 different copies of FFXI.
