Go place a plastic cake cover over some of them, or even some of the temporary plastic pots you may have. I think it might improve your germination success rate. Then again I guess it depends on the humidity in your area. If you use a cake top you can get away with watering it much less often. Well, you will just have to monitor the wetness of the soil, use a toothpick or something like that to get a good idea of how well the soil holds water, just like checking a cake!

No damn way >_> I just looked it up and it says soil when wet is around 70-100 pounds per cubic foot.. which means by the time I'm finished I will have moved a small-medium sized car a shovel full at a time >.>;;

And that's just digging out the bed first, some of that is going back, and the rest is getting moved to a more permanent spot. Right now it's on my driveway so it's easier to scoop up and move later.
