Decided I'm going to use all this money owed back to me from loans to finally upgrade to a new PC. Now I just need to think of a cool name to color coordinate LED fans and CCFLs with. Suggestions?

It's dorky, but I'm thinking of FF or Zelda related names for my PC that would co-respond with whatever colors. I think maybe something like Garuda, Tonberry, or Farore would go well with green.
Though if I got a massive full-tower, I'd be obliged to go with white and call it Alexander. Oooooh yeah :3

god you should see all the puns in ffxiv, tons of quests and achievements are hilarious. if i need a good laugh i just look at all the achievement names.
for example the quest i did yesterday was called "Gore a lizard, Hurry"

Ah good call. There are some decent water cooling solutions, and that combined with blue would definitely befit such an awesome sea serpent.
Sadly a lot of colors for fans and lights are rather limited. Pretty much has to be white, red, blue, or green. Though I suppose I could purchase my own tubing, wires, and florescent tube lights to make my own.

Yeah, was thinking I could go with the three basic colors and do:
Din (Red), Nayru (Blue) and Farore (Green). Or I could even include Hylia (White) and Demise (Red/Black). The Zelda lore is very color and element coordinated like FF is, so either way is very fun and creative.
Hardest part is deciding on one.

It's not necessary, but for aesthetic purposes, one would ideally want to match the matte color of their motherboard with everything else.
Sadly red motherboards are few and far between, and ones that are available to my specifications are nearly $300 lol.

red, blue, and green are about the only colors they make now, red are common enough, especially in the higher end boards.

played this in class and everyone was looking at my screen, I know because the prof. asked me why everyone was looking at my screen, he did it so smooth with the conversation in threw my off guard...
also: being a religion class, I already got into a discussion about semantics, but Hinduism is rather intriguing.
