Yep. Just finished re watching the Shishio Arc.
Yea, it makes little sense though neither does drawing your sword to make it swing fast. Still one of my favorite mangas though.

I think the logic behind it, is because it takes actual force to pull the sword out of the sheathe, so it's like working off of the momentum of that motion.
I miss the days when martial arts movies weren't full of CGI and J-Rock stars :/
Yeah. Really hope they finish/continue the anime sometime with enishi arc. Heard they were going too sometime after the Live action. :< Would be so awesome, Enishi's my favorite character.

Contemplating making a music sub-thread dedicated to love songs of sorts. Though I have a terrible feeling nobody is going to take it even remotely seriously, and will subsequently trash it with things like Nikki Minaj and things of the like.

I never said Battōjutsu wasn't real btw. Simply the way it's described is lol. I'm sure people have had exploding gloves as well. Though to receive no damage from using one really? We were talking about anime logic.
Ugh this guy does amazing artwork and crossovers for his apparel, but the saddest part of it is, any of his previous works are no longer for sale. They're all in the graveyard :(
Considering you can burn fuel in your hand without damaging your skin, it doesn't seem completely impossible that such a technique could exist.

I think the sad thing is that people would legitimately thing theose are love songs. Also, I`m pretty sure there is already a thread similar to that.

I never said that, I was referring to the draw from a sheathe it is a technique. You never said anything about what you're explaining there.
As for the explosions in the hand, probably a way.
